Job Summary
We're looking for a Sports Card Sourcing Associate to support our growing sports card acquisition operation. Reporting directly to the Sports Card Sourcing Manager, this role is hands-on and detail-oriented, handling everything from raw card research and grading submissions to batch administration, dealer support, and inventory management. You'll be the operational backbone of the sourcing team, keeping pipelines moving and inventory flowing.
What You'll Do
- Source raw sports cards across marketplaces (eBay, COMC, Whatnot, card shows, LCS) — evaluating condition, tracking comps, and negotiating with sellers.
- Prepare and manage grading submissions: pre-screening cards, selecting service tiers, tracking pipeline status, and reconciling returned grades.
- Create and administer batches, monitor for discrepancies, and resolve same-day to keep processing on track.
- Support dealers and the pricing team with pricing requests, FMV analysis, and dealer sheet audits.
- Scan incoming inventory, pack boxes, coordinate carrier pickups, and maintain shipping logs.
- Coordinate with grading companies on status and turnaround times; keep vendor and supply information current.
- Assist with live event prep by reserving chase cards and monitoring supporting inventory.
- Track batch costs and compile regular summaries for the Sourcing Manager
What You'll Bring
- 2-3 years of experience in sports card buying, selling, trading, or a related collectibles field.
- Solid working knowledge of the sports card market — key players, sets, grading standards, and current hobby trends.
- Hands-on ability to evaluate raw card condition and assess grade potential.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with sourcing, ops, and marketing teams.
- Comfortable with data entry, spreadsheets, and maintaining accurate logs and trackers.
- Proactive and self-directed — you flag problems early and follow through without being reminded.
- Genuine passion for sports cards and collectibles.
What You'll Get in Return
- A dynamic and engaging environment focused on fostering real growth and innovation.
- Opportunities to create amazing products that our customers truly love and value.
- Comprehensive health insurance packages with dependent coverage.
- Competitive salary with ample opportunities for career advancement and development.
- Enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote work environment.
- 401(k) plan with a 4% employer match to help you plan for the future.
- $100 monthly dogfooding stipend to support trying out our products firsthand.
- Access to employee wellness programs designed to support your overall well-being.
