Job Application for IT QA Analyst at CPI Security

CPI Security, a leader in security and automation systems is hiring a IT QA Analyst for our team in our Charlotte, North Carolina market. This will be a member of IT Application Delivery responsible for Quality Assurance testing of applications and systems. Active throughout requirements and development lifecycle; studies and improves process, product, and roadmap. Involved in User Experience design and verification.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and document manual test cases
Develop regression and smoke testing scripts UX/accessibility testing
Execute manual tests, analyze requirements, and report detailed defects
Conduct Functional UI Testing (black box), Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, Exploratory Testing
Basic data (SQL) validation
Basic API payload (payloads and headers) validation
Contribute to requirements discussions and project planning
Ensure end product meets or exceeds user expectations
Coordinate UAT
Identify automation cases in test plan
Some automation capability; recording, basic scripting

Experience in Salesforce or other CRM

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, exempt position. Hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel is not required.

Preferred Education and Experience

BS degree or 4+ years relevant experience
Four (4) or more years of progressive experience as a QA Tester or Analyst.
Primary QA for multiple small- to medium-sized projects
