Salesforce Marketing Cloud Strategist
CPI Security, a leader in the security and automation solutions industry, is looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Strategist to join our growing team in Charlotte, North Carolina! The ideal candidate will leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud to drive innovative and personalized marketing strategies, optimize customer journeys, and deliver measurable business results. As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Strategist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing marketing campaigns that engage customers and strengthen brand loyalty across digital channels. This role will work closely with development, analytics, digital marketing and business team members to capture the data needed to drive business decisions. You will play a leading role in our mission to protect our customers and what matters most to them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies using Salesforce Marketing Cloud to engage customers and enhance their journey across email, SMS, social media, and web channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, data analysts, and IT to align marketing goals and ensure campaign success.
- Design personalized and automated marketing workflows based on customer segmentation, behaviors, and lifecycle stages.
- Configure, manage, and optimize Marketing Cloud applications such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Audience Studio to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor campaign performance and key metrics, analyzing customer engagement and conversion rates to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Create detailed campaign reports and dashboards for stakeholders, highlighting the impact of marketing activities on business objectives.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools, updates, and best practices to ensure the platform is used to its fullest potential.
- Provide technical support and guidance to marketing team members for campaign setup, troubleshooting, and optimization within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Lead the integration of Marketing Cloud with other Salesforce solutions (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) and third-party platforms to enhance the customer experience and marketing capabilities.
- Stay current with marketing trends and Salesforce innovations to recommend new strategies, features, and techniques to drive success.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Audience Studio, and Datorama.
- Experience in campaign strategy development, customer segmentation, and lead nurturing.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS, AMPscript, and SQL for email and automation customization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data and performance metrics.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and work within a team-oriented culture.
- Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Marketing Cloud Consultant, are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with A/B testing and optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with integrating third-party tools, such as CRMs or analytics platforms, with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Experience in creating customer journey maps and leveraging predictive analytics for personalization.
