What You Will Be Doing:
We are searching for a talented and dedicated Product Owner to play a vital role in delivering value to our customers. Reporting to the VP, Product Management, this role will be at the forefront of implementing our product roadmap, ensuring that our vision is translated into actionable tasks and features. Your responsibilities will include managing the product backlog, prioritizing tasks, authoring epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions. You will also be responsible for gathering and incorporating internal and external feedback to continually enhance our products and meet the evolving needs of our customers. Day in the Life: 
  • Work with the Product Management team to gain alignment from product vision and roadmap to product backlog
  • Engage in conversations with customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and overall ensure that product implementation is aligned with customer needs
  • Work closely with the development team to help refine and implement the product backlog. Write epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria 
  • Work in a cross-functional and collaborative role spanning several teams such as engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support to help deliver solutions to our customers
 
Who You Are:
 
Required Qualifications:
 
  • 3+ years experience in a related, technical role. Prior experience in a Product Owner role is a plus
  • Strong technical understanding of Backup / Storage Management / Data Security / Data Resilience solutions
  • History of working with and understanding customer needs
  • Self-starter with exceptional communication skills to help deliver insights to diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High energy and excellent teamwork skills
  • Have a bias for action and demonstrate ownership
  • Ability to see and assess the broader picture
  • Knowledge of Agile practices is preferred
  • Knowledge on Disaster Recovery, Backup desirable
  • Prior Atlassian and Jira experience is a nice to have
