
Senior Compensation Analyst

Credit Karma seeks a Compensation Analyst to join our team. This role, reporting to the Director, Compensation, will involve driving the execution of compensation programs, managing and enhancing monthly reporting and tool development, and consulting with HR Business Partners on compensation matters. Furthermore, this position will require ad-hoc pricing of roles within the job architecture to ensure alignment with market benchmarks and organizational equity. Success in this role necessitates a high degree of technical expertise in Google Sheets, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
What you’ll do:
- Compensation Program Design and Execution:
- Assist in the design, communication, and execution of compensation programs, including bi-annual promotion and equity refresh grant.
- Ensure alignment with organizational budget and market competitiveness while maintaining internal equity.
- Reporting & Tool Maintenance:
- Generate, maintain, and enhance monthly compensation reports to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Regularly update and maintain compensation tools, ensuring data accuracy and optimizing process efficiency.
- Pricing Roles:
- Conduct ad-hoc pricing of new and existing roles within job architecture, using market data, internal comparisons, and company-specific guidelines.
- Partner with team members to ensure pricing recommendations align with compensation philosophy.
- Consultation & Collaboration:
- Serve as a trusted partner to HR Business Partners on compensation inquiries, providing guidance to resolve complex cases and ensuring consistent application of policies.
- Act as a resource to business leaders, supporting their understanding of compensation practices and how they align with broader business objectives.
- Partner and act as an internal consultant with managers and supervisors regarding compensation issues, policies and procedures
- Compliance & Best Practices:
- Own SOX compliance on behalf of Compensation
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and legislative changes related to compensation.
- Help refine philosophies, practices, and strategies that ensure compliance and position Credit Karma as a competitive employer.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or related area.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in compensation analysis or a related field.
What we’d like to see:
- Proven expertise in Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables, scripting, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with market pricing tools and compensation survey platforms is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
- Collaborative partner with a customer-centric mindset who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

It’s all part of a more comprehensive DEI strategy that helps level the playing field. The base salary range for this role is $124,630 - $161,888, plus equity and benefits.
