Partnership Analytics Analyst II (Personal Loans)
Data and analytics play a pivotal role in Credit Karma’s mission and every part of our business – informing new product design, driving marketing efficiency, and powering the recommendations we personalize to each of our over 140 million members.
We’re seeking a driven, results-oriented problem solver to join the Partnerships Analytics team supporting the Personal Loans vertical. In this role, you will use your analytical and strategic experience to create data-driven business recommendations that drive key decisions or deepen relations with our partners (startup fintechs to the largest financial institutions in the world). This role has high visibility and will contribute meaningfully to Credit Karma’s growth in delivering value for our members and partners.
What you’ll do:
- Use internal and external data to develop strategic recommendations that create measurable value for Credit Karma and its lending partners.
- Develop learning agendas and test plans to support agile, data-driven decision-making.
Build analytical frameworks to evaluate partner performance, marketplace dynamics, and portfolio health. - Query and analyze large-scale tradeline, partner, and member-level datasets using SQL to evaluate credit performance trends and quantify growth opportunities.
- Design and maintain scalable reporting solutions in Tableau (or similar BI tools), delivering timely, decision-ready insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with Business Development to support partner growth strategy by delivering structured analysis, scenario modeling, and executive-ready materials.
- Unlike some analytics functions, you are not a service provider. You’re a thought leader to the business, owning end-to-end analytic work streams, defining success and performance metrics, and delivering actionable insights and recommendations for cross-functional groups and partners.
Minimum Basic Requirement:
- 2+ years of experience in analytics, strategy, consulting, finance, or a related quantitative field, with a BS/MS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or similar.
- Strong SQL proficiency with the ability to independently extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
- Demonstrated experience translating complex analysis into clear, actionable business recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience building dashboards and performance reporting in Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and experience applying them to business problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fintech, financial services, consulting, or a similar strategic or analytical experience.
- Exposure to R/Python.
- Ability to communicate qualitative and quantitative results clearly, succinctly, and confidently in verbal and written communications.
- Strong problem-solver able to identify opportunities for growth or improvement to advance the goals of both our partners and our business.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and assert influence internally/externally.
Benefits include:
- Medical and Dental Coverage
- Retirement Plan
- Commuter Benefits
- Wellness perks
