
Temporary Associate End User Specialist
Pay Range: $26.11 - $32.64
Remote Eligible: Hybrid

General Purpose of the Position
The End User Specialist - Associate provides frontline technical support, system administration, and asset management to ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. This role assists end users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT assets, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including the following). May perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support & End-User Assistance:
- Provide technical support for Windows operating systems, troubleshooting installation, configuration, and performance issues.
- Respond to chat, email, and help desk calls, documenting and tracking tickets in the IT service management system.
- Assist users with hardware and software installations, ensuring proper configuration.
- Support audio/video equipment in conference and board rooms.
- System Administration & Asset Management:
- Assist with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Cisco Webex administration.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals, using asset management tools.
- Track and manage inventory, procurement, and disposal of end-user computing devices to ensure proper lifecycle management.
- Ensure that IT assets are properly assigned, maintained, and audited in compliance with company policies.
- Manage and document user account creation, modification, and termination processes.
- Process Improvement & Documentation:
- Update and distribute process and procedure documentation to reflect system changes and best practices.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Collaboration & Compliance:
- Work with IT teams to coordinate activities and ensure seamless support across the organization.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and organized work area while safeguarding sensitive data.
- Ensure compliance with BSA, FACTA, AML, and other federal and state regulations, reporting any suspicious activity.
- Professionalism & Customer Service:
- Deliver exceptional service by addressing members’ and coworkers’ needs promptly and professionally.
- Uphold the credit union’s professional reputation and confidentiality standards.
- Execute special projects as assigned by management.
This position is considered “essential staff.” This will involve having to work during non-business hours (weekends, holidays, etc.). Must carry pager/cell phone for off-hours support and will have a non-traditional schedule.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or six plus months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of computer hardware and software. Ability to think in terms of computer logic patterns. Ability to learn basic job control and the practices, principles and techniques of computer operations and data processing. Understanding of Credit Union operations and information output needs. Ability to apply verbal and interpersonal skills that develop member confidence, respect and trust in Credit Union of Colorado and develop cooperative relationships with all levels of people throughout the organization. Exceptional customer/member service skills. Must obtain ITIL Foundation certification within one (1) year of hire.

- Cisco Phone/Call Manager and Networking
- Enterprise Audio/Video support a plus
- PC/Laptop Hardware (Dell)
- Financial Core System Management - Symitar/JHA/ProfitStars a plus
- Recommended Certifications: A+, Network+, MSCA
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is typically required to sit for long periods. The employee continually is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop and reach with hands and arms. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to [10] pounds.
