Warehouse Coordinator (1st Shift)
Position Summary
Warehouse Coordinators work directly with customer representatives to manage orders, exceptions, and special requests. They support site leadership to plan and execute daily work with expected levels of productivity, quality, and safety. They ensure that team members in their area of responsibility are positioned and monitored for maximum productivity. Additionally, this position handles vendor-managed inventory (VMI), overseeing inventory levels, replenishment, and coordination with vendors to ensure uninterrupted product availability and accurate stock management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safety
- Read and understand the Crescent Safety Playbook – Doing It Safe.
- Ensure Safe and well-maintained work environment and conditions throughout all workspaces, facility, and surrounding areas.
- Actively participate in Safety Committee activities and initiatives and champion and engage all staff and people in cultivating and promoting a Safety-First Culture.
- Participation with safety sentinel program with completing and looking for solutions
- Properly secure loads and ensure loads are loaded within truck limits
- Report any vehicle problems and defects to the manager or General Manager
- Maintain a satisfactory driving record
- Maintain logbooks for trips over a 6-month period
- Complete road test and certification
Quality
- Execute quality management of material through controlling customer hardware
- Ensure proper documentation is kept and maintained of processes and procedure including but not limited to, job aids, work instructions, and non-conformance documents.
- Utilize account tools and ERP system to act quickly and execute QEM management in a timely manner.
- Assist with ISO program management.
- Assist with FOD and parts awareness training.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Inspect all paperwork to identify the reason for returns or shipments.
- If position is focused on quality objectives, respond to quality inquiries, log non-conforming parts, and other inquiries related to parts.
- Participate in Quality Sentinel Programs
- Prepare Requests for Shipment (RFS)
- Ensure current and accurate inventory control for each account.
- Ensure Inventory accuracy goals of the account are met.
- Maintain a good knowledge of all Crescent supplies, always maintaining proper stock levels.
Productivity
- Manage orders and ensure execution/needs are met in a timely manner

- Assist with training all Crescent People on proper policies and procedures.
- Ensure that Customer expectations are met on a consistent basis.
- Encourage good working conditions and provide positive motivation for all Crescent People.
- Maintain productivity standards as dictated by department KPIs and goals.
- Use of Microsoft Office application to communicate daily tasks, KPIs, conduct daily business, and all other key reporting indicators.
- Working with other departments and utilizing tools and resources to drive a lean culture.
- Leading projects to eliminate waste and defects within the department.
- Support Cross Functional Teams to manage and prioritize staffing assignments to ensure customer demand and the production schedules are met.
- Work closely with fellow team members and ensure that daily production goals are met. Ensure that outside obstacles and influences do not affect the harmony and process on the floor.
- Be able to report out on Inventory metrics and speak to open action items.

- Act as a liaison to shipping/warehouse people ensuring all order requirements are successfully communicated
- Maintain a good working relationship with customers by responding to all inquiries/complaints, shipments, inventory counts etc., in a courteous and efficient manner

- Provide individual performance insights to the leadership team for assessments and coaching.

Work Environment / Physical Demands
- Fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability to constant changes in schedules, volumes, staffing, and shift requirements.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard; must also be able to reach, stoop, and kneel to install computer equipment.
- Walk on concrete floors for extended periods while in the warehouse pulling and labeling products for shipping
- The ability to communicate with facts, and to balance talking with listening.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English to perform job duties safely and effectively.
- Ability to read instructions and perform basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and understanding percentages.
- Strong attention to detail with a logical approach to problem-solving and consistently accurate work.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and computer proficiency.
- Strong interpersonal skills with clear written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to communicate using facts and maintain a balanced approach between talking and listening.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office; comfortable learning new software or systems as needed.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing operational demands.
- Flexibility to work varying hours as needed to support operations.
- Must be able to safely operate a 16-ft box truck.
- Valid Class B driver’s license (or state-issued equivalent) required.
- Driving record must meet Crescent’s insurance eligibility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in customer service, inventory, or warehouse operations.
- Understand warehouse and quality control methods
- intermediate knowledge of MS Office- Excel
- Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
- Forklift Operator experience
