Senior Product Designer, AI Agents
Cresta is on a mission to turn every customer conversation into a competitive advantage by unlocking the true potential of the contact center. Our platform combines the best of AI and human intelligence to help contact centers discover customer insights and behavioral best practices, automate conversations and inefficient processes, and empower every team member to work smarter and faster. Born from the prestigious Stanford AI lab, Cresta's co-founder and chairman is Sebastian Thrun, the genius behind Google X, Waymo, Udacity, and more. Our leadership also includes CEO, Ping Wu, the co-founder of Google Contact Center AI and Vertex AI platform, and co-founder, Tim Shi, an early member of Open AI.
Join us on this thrilling journey to revolutionize the workforce with AI. The future of work is here, and it's at Cresta.
About the role:Designing for AI Agents at Cresta isn’t limited to the voice or chat experiences of how end users interact with AI Agents—it also involves everything that makes those interactions possible behind the scenes (think of the famous “Hidden Depths Iceberg” picture). This includes self-serve capabilities such as the AI Agent builder, model training, testing and evaluation tools, and conversation intelligence features like discovery and insights. Also because Cresta is the unified platform for both human and AI Agents, you’ll get to design how different personas within the contact center collaborate with AI Agents.
In this role, you’ll own critical 0→1 and 1→N experiences for AI Agent products. You got to work tightly with our world-class research/PM/eng and design to help enterprises deploy AI agents that resolve customer issues, accelerate sales, and amplify human performance. AI Agents and LLMs are evolving rapidly—and at Cresta, you’ll have a front-row seat in shaping that future. What an exciting time to be alive!
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end design process across AI Agent surfaces (chat, voice UIs) as well as the builder, training, and tooling ecosystem: research synthesis → interaction/IA → visual polish → production handoff and iteration.
- Prototype quickly (Figma, Cursor, Claude, Voice API, etc.) to explore UI paradigms, LLM prompts, tools, and guardrail UX; validate via user studies and experiments. Prototypes should be suitable for both internal communication and external sales demos.
- Translate the latest AI/LLM capabilities into intuitive experiences that set the correct expectations, expose appropriate controls, and support grounding, verification, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Champion the users—whether our customers (enterprise users) or our customers' customers (end users), through research and insights that drive design decisions.
- Shape product strategy by collaborating with PMs, Engineers, ML researchers, Customer Success, Sales and Marketing to define features and requirements.
- Push the envelope by driving toward design solutions that are not only functional, but also delightful, innovative, and optimized for simplicity
Qualifications We Value:
- 3–8+ years of product/UX design with shipped, complex B2B or systems work (show us flows, not just UI)
- A strong portfolio showcasing user-centric design thinking, polished UI craftsmanship, and innovative interaction paradigms
- Excellence in prototyping: skilled at using tools like Cursor, Claude Code, V0, or the latest AI tools to build realistic prototypes.
- Working knowledge of LLM/agent concepts (prompting, tools/functions, grounding/RAG, evaluation, failure modes) and how they shape UX (e.g., steerability, corrections, verification)
- A bias for action: take initiative, high-agency, comfortable working in fast cycles, and tackling ambiguity
- Deep curiosity about the underlying tech of our products, and learn quickly
- We offer Cresta employees a variety of medical, dental, and vision plans, designed to fit you and your family’s needs
- Paid parental leave to support you and your family
- Monthly Health & Wellness allowance
- Work from home office stipend to help you succeed in a remote environment
- Lunch reimbursement for in-office employees
- PTO: 3 weeks in Canada
Compensation for this position includes a base salary, equity, and a variety of benefits. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.
