Field Marketing Specialist
About the role:
Responsibilities:
- Be an Owner: Define the unique approach and execution for the events you lead
- Drive Results: Support pipeline generation to hit our field marketing qualified pipeline targets
- Partner with Others: Develop partnerships with cross-functional colleagues across GTM with operations, design, demand, sales, and partner teams to achieve desired results
- Stay Organized: Project manage event assignments including cross-functional team standups, leadership approvals, Salesforce reporting, and stakeholder readouts: Manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimization of resources, Manage vendor communications, contracting, and invoicing, Manage event speaking opportunities including content management and presenter preparation
- Keep Learning: Learn industry best practices but be comfortable breaking them
- Drive Attendees: Create and manage event landing pages and registration
- Be Accountable: Collect and analyze data to create post-event reports, assessing the success of events and identifying areas for improvement in the event planning process, event marketing, and overall event impact
- Scale the Program: Build and iterate on best practices and repeatable processes in order to drive efficiency and scale event programs
- Go to Customers: On-site event operations including set-up, registration, booth operations and strike. This role will require up to 30% travel
- Collaborate on Content & Market Research: work closely with content marketing and PMM teams to develop compelling event content and share trends, insights, and opportunities derived from the field
- Be a Team Player: You will pitch in to support anything else needed in field and events marketing that may include: managing branded merch, creating moments for customer launches, and more
Qualifications We Value:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- At least 1 year of marketing experience, ideally for a SaaS or B2B business
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting in executive-level settings
- Excellent organization skills and experience managing complex projects
- Preferred experience selling software or AI products
- Preferred experience in software categories related to contact centers, customer experience and virtual agents
