Role Overview:
As Cresta’s first technical writer, you will spearhead the development of high-quality, user-focused documentation that helps customers and internal teams get the most out of our platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define/refine our technical writing standards and strategy
- Write, edit, and publish end-user documentation in the Help Center - understanding the different end-user personas and tailoring the content accordingly
- Prioritize depth and types of documentation to be published
- Engage with customers and data to understand opportunities to improve documentation
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts, including product managers, engineers, product marketing and customer success and engage with customers and data to understand opportunities to improve documentation
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role, preferably in the tech or AI industry, with a focus on enterprise content. Bonus for contact center experience.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to understand and explain complex AI concepts clearly and concisely to enterprise audiences.
- Experience with documentation tools and content management systems.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, machine learning workflows, and related software development processes in an enterprise context.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bonus for:
- Coding experience
- Fluency with Zendesk as a content management system
- Experience creating and managing API or developer documentation
- A portfolio of documentation and copywriting samples.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary, equity, and a variety of benefits. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.
