Primary Care Physician
COHO Integrated Solutions is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Primary Care Physician to join our team at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to Veterans, including comprehensive assessments, diagnostics, treatment plans, and patient education, in a supportive and collaborative Primary Care setting. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Provide patient assessment, diagnostic work-up, and clinic intervention.
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including health history review, physical examinations, and patient education.
- Order and evaluate diagnostic tests as necessary and recommend treatment plans or referrals as appropriate.
- Record and document health appraisal information, clinical assessments, treatment decisions, plans of care, and therapeutic outcomes in the electronic patient record system (CPRS).
- Prescribe medications, diagnostic tests, and referrals as needed during patient visits.
- Collaborate with the Primary Care team to provide continuous, high-quality care for Veterans.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Citizenship:
- Proof of US Citizenship is required to work on this contract.
- Education/Certifications:

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or a related field from an accredited university.
- Must hold a current, unrestricted medical license to practice in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent.
- Required Knowledge/Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Primary Care or related field.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Proficient in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, specifically CPRS
