Principal Architect
Copper River Data Solutions is seeking a Principal Architect to join our team in support of outside sales team. As a principal architect this individual will work with sales team to build solutions across all aspects of our customers data centers. They will work closely with and build relationships across C level and director individuals at current and future customers. This individual's expertise will include but is not limited to the data center, cyber security, cloud infrastructure, etc,
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Customer Engagement & Technical Leadership:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, challenges, and technical requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on the architecture, design, and implementation of solutions.
- Conduct technical deep dives and offers advice on product selection, integration, and scaling.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to key customers, understanding their needs and offering technology solutions that drive success.
Strategic Technology Roadmap:
- Develop and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for technology adoption and deployment aligned with customer business goals.
- Assist clients in future-proofing their tech stack by recommending emerging technologies and trends.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams (sales, product, and engineering) to ensure seamless solution delivery.
- Provide technical insights to support sales efforts and help close deals by presenting technical use cases, product demos, and proposals.
Innovation & Solution Design:
- Drive innovation by suggesting creative, cutting-edge solutions that meet clients' evolving needs.
- Lead technical workshops and design sessions to co-create solutions with clients and internal teams.
Industry Leadership:
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitive landscape.
- Represent the company at events, conferences, and webinars, promoting thought leadership and establishing the company as a key player in the tech space.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Required Knowledge/Experience:

- 20+ years of experience in technology, including at least 5 years in a senior or executive-level consulting role.
- Proven track record in client-facing roles, particularly in a consulting, pre-sales, or CTO capacity.
- Extensive experience working with clients in Finance, Healthcare, Retail and Manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong expertise in Executive Leadership, Business Consulting and Operational Excellence.
- Deep understanding of business operations and the ability to translate business challenges into technological solutions.
- Ability to advice and present business strategies, technology roadmaps, and implementation schedules to Executives and Technology Leaders.
- Experience in leading teams, managing large-scale projects, and influencing decision-making at the executive level.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
