Sr. Full-Stack Developer
TACG is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team supporting the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in designing, deploying, and maintaining the Vessel Incidental Discharge Act (VIDA) Data Management system (DMS) to implement, monitor, and enforce regulations for vessel incidental discharges. This will be a cloud-based, Low-Code Application Platform (LCAP) solution using Appian.
The Senior Full Stack Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining solutions across platforms and devices.
Work Location:
There will be occasional USCG meetings in the DC Metro Area or West Virginia. The Senior Full Stack Developer may work remotely, but if there is interest in attending USCG meetings, then the Senior Full Stack Developer should reside within one hour travel time from the DC Metro Area.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Serve as the Senior Full Stack Developer and subject matter specialist
- Develop and maintain solutions across platforms and devices
- Develop, modify, and maintain custom web parts, master pages, and content types
- Develop and deploy workflows and customizations
- Work in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Develop and ensure the use of programming standards
- Develop SQL scripts
- Design, develop and populate databases as needed
Requirements:
- Clearance:
- Must have or be eligible for a Tier 1 background investigation
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science or an IT related field
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience
- Experience developing and maintaining solutions across platforms and devices
- Experience building custom interfaces
- Experience developing, modifying, and maintaining custom web parts, master pages, and content types
- Experience developing and deploying workflows and customizations
- Experience working in AWS or another Cloud environment
- Experience in containerized solutions
- Software design experience
- Experience with DevSecOps, HERMN (or other software factories), Agile and/or CI/CD
- Experience with APIs, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and data fabric
- Familiarity with AWS Landing Zone Accelerator framework, Virtual Datacenter Security Stack, or AWS CloudFormation
- Experience with VIDA DMS preferred
- Experience with Appian or other LCAP solutions is a plus
