Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Coho Integrated Solutions is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide high-quality behavioral health services at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. In this role, you will work closely with active-duty service members and their families, delivering comprehensive psychosocial assessments, therapy, and case management in coordination with an interdisciplinary treatment team within a Military Treatment Facility (MTF) setting.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Conduct intake interviews with parents and caregivers, offering supportive engagement and connecting families with appropriate services.
- Administer standardized developmental and behavioral assessments, including the FEAS, CARS, Greenspan Social-Emotional Growth Chart, and REEL.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies based on the Play and Language for Autistic Youngsters (P.L.A.Y.) Project, using a parent-mediated approach.
- Conduct follow-up assessments to monitor patient progress and provide detailed written and video-based feedback.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff using telehealth tools such as secure messaging and telephone, supporting efficient care coordination.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards as outlined by the state licensing board, the American Psychological Association (APA) Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and the privileges granted by the MTF.
- Perform psychological evaluations by integrating data from clinical interviews, standardized testing, and collateral sources.
- Establish psychiatric diagnoses using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) criteria published by the American Psychiatric Association.
- Deliver psychological treatment services to individuals and groups, including support for medical and surgical patients coping with illness or injury.
- Assist in patient rehabilitation through therapeutic intervention and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education and Certifications:
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from a program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship in Psychology.
- Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.
- P.L.A.Y project certified or must obtain certification within 60 days of hire.
- Travel
- Frequent travel within a 40-mile radius required, with occasional travel to remote sites (e.g., Minot AFB, Grand Forks AFB, Ellsworth AFB, Barksdale AFB, and Whiteman AFB). A personal vehicle is required.
