Chief Data Scientist
Coho Technology Solutions is seeking a Chief Data Scientist to led advanced data science and analytics strategies, leveraging AI and machine learning to enhance data quality, processing efficiency, and decision-making. This role transforms the Census Bureau’s data environment through innovative research, integration, and automation.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Develop strategies for continuous data collection and integration.
- Lead AI-driven research to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with Title 13 requirements.
- Promote advanced analytics and data governance across Census programs.
- Collaborate with program and IT stakeholders to align data science initiatives with mission objectives.
- Implement data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage capabilities for transparency.
- Oversee training and mentoring programs to upskill teams in AI, machine learning, and analytics.
- Develop predictive and prescriptive models to enhance operational decision-making and resource planning.
Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- Experience:
- Proven leadership in AI, data analytics, or data management
- Experience with demographic, administrative, or geospatial datasets preferred
Position Pay Range
$140,000 - $200,000 USD
