Program / Project Manager
TACG is seeking a highly experienced Program / Project Manager to oversee and managing Task Order execution in support of NAVSEA Integrated Training Systems Technology & Innovations in Chantilly, VA. This role ensures contractor performance aligns with the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP), Statement of Work (SOW), and the Contractor’s Quality Control Plan (QCP). The position provides leadership, governance, and oversight to ensure performance objectives, quality standards, schedules, and cost controls are consistently met, while delivering high-quality services to the Government
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Plan, manage, and execute all aspects of the Task Order, including scope, schedule, cost, and performance
- Ensure contractor compliance with QASP, SOW, and QCP requirements
- Monitor contractor performance and implement corrective actions when performance standards are not met
- Coordinate and lead program reviews, status meetings, and performance briefings with Government stakeholders
- Develop, review, and maintain program documentation, metrics, and quality assurance reports
- Identify program risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and track resolution
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams and subordinate organizations
- Support Government evaluation of performance objectives and option year decisions
- Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition, program management, and quality assurance policies
- Serve as the primary interface between TACG and Government leadership
Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Security Clearance:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related scientific or technical discipline
- Required Experience and Knowledge:
- Fifteen (15) years of program management experience, including eight (8) years managing DoD or Department of the Navy programs
- DoD and Department of the Navy program management methodologies
- Application and execution of Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP)
- Performance-based service acquisition and quality assurance oversight
- Cost, schedule, and performance management for complex programs
- Risk management and corrective action planning
- Development and analysis of performance metrics and quality documentation
- Stakeholder engagement and executive-level communications
- Oversight of contractor performance in accordance with SOW and QCP requirements
