Construction Inspector
Coho Construction Management is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector. This remote role requires travel and will provide quality assurance oversight to verify construction activities comply with contract requirements, approved submittals, and applicable codes and standards. This role supports daily inspection, documentation, and coordination activities under established QA processes.
This is part-time/on-call position with an estimated 200 hours in six months.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Perform routine QA inspections of construction activities across assigned disciplines.
- Support implementation of the 3-Phase Control System.
- Review contractor QC reports, inspection logs, and test results.
- Identify deficiencies and track corrective actions to closure.
- Review selected submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs for compliance.
- Maintain daily inspection reports and deficiency logs.
- Participate in coordination and safety meetings.
- Support system testing, inspections, and closeout activities.
Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Required Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of construction inspection or QA experience.
- Experience in one or more construction disciplines.
- Familiarity with federal or public-sector QA processes preferred.
