Why You’ll Love This Role

Cribl is looking for an ad and email-obsessed Demand Generation Manager to help drive our digital experience to the next level. The ideal candidate will be revenue-centric, fully comfortable working directly in the tools, and able to report on impact with clarity and precision.

You’ll spend your time writing copy, working with our Design team to deliver compelling creative, and collaborating with our internal marketing operations and ad operations agency to launch and measure activity in paid social, paid search, and Marketo. This will include always-on buyer journey activations, ABM 1:Many and 1:Few, campaign launches, and a constant cycle of test-and-learn experimentation across email nurture and digital ads.

Our demand generation engine is already leading the field in terms of innovation and creativity - you’ll be joining to help us level it up again. We’ll want you to bring both the left and right sides of your brain to take your ideas from ‘wouldn’t that be cool’ to ‘look how much pipeline this contributed’. It probably goes without saying at this point - but you’ll be good at working with AI to improve creativity and efficiency.

As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will…

  • Own the execution and continuous optimization of ads in our global, always-on digital experience and 1-to-many programs, managing our external agency to implement across platforms, test, learn, optimize, and report on impact.
  • Design email nurture paths based on best practices, understand deliverability and performance metrics, and deliver data-led optimizations.
  • Provide support for other programs that support our Buyer Journey Nurture strategy including third-party review programs (ex. PeerSpot), funnel acceleration ad campaigns, and intent data activation.
  • Work closely with our Marketing Operations team to scope operational requirements to ensure proper lead capture & flow; familiarity with Marketo is a strong plus.
  • Possess a strong understanding of ad platforms (LinkedIn, Google, Bing, Reddit), CRM & marketing automation tools (Salesforce, Marketo), and multitouch attribution platforms. 
  • Have a strong understanding of what it takes to create compelling ads for Paid Search & Paid Social (writing ad copy working with input from SMEs in Product Marketing, conceptualizing creative / design, etc..) and work effectively with our Creative team to bring these to life.
  • Demonstrate ROI within a multitouch attribution model, and keep Sales always informed on what’s touching their prospects and how they should follow-up  
  • Be an active partner and collaborator - must have a growth mindset and be driven to bring in best practices from industry, explore and propose new ways to optimize and evolve our efforts 
  • Manage associated budget processes and be comfortable with accountability.
  • We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones – you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours 


If You’ve Got It - We Want It

  • 8+ years’ experience in digital marketing, demand generation & paid advertising experience, with 2-3 years within an IT / software company.
  • Strong analytical skills, and proven track record in making data-driven decisions to continually optimize performance and determine future investments.
  • Strong understanding of the Buyer Journey, Marketing Lifecycle Stages, and how to optimize paid advertising and email to support the entire sales funnel; familiarity with SiriusDecisions / Forrester B2B concepts a plus
  • Resourceful with the ability to keep pace - and set the pace - to execute in a timely manner, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail; a degree of scrappiness is welcome.
  • Demonstrable experience in working with external digital advertising agencies and managing budgets efficiently, past agency experience a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, project and budget management skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce & Marketo.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Experience working fast across time zones to partner with the best resources 
  • Ability to effectively manage relationships in a remote environment.


Salary Range ($115,000 - $160,000)

The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition to a competitive salary, Cribl also offers a generous benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), equity, and eligibility for a discretionary company-wide bonus.
