At GreeningLaw, P.C., we specialize in delivering exceptional personal injury representation across Texas, fiercely advocating for individuals with complex personal injury claims. Our firm is built on a foundation of integrity, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of justice. With years of experience navigating complex personal injury cases, we have earned a reputation for defending our clients’ rights and achieving favorable outcomes. We are driven by our mission statement: We fight the legal battle so you have time for healing and renewal.

We are actively expanding our reach into new states and broadening our portfolio of personal injury cases, from low-value motor vehicle accidents to high-stakes commercial vehicle collisions and complex medical malpractice litigation. We are dedicated to fostering a culture of growth—both personally and professionally—for our team members.

As our practice grows, we are seeking a Junior Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to attorneys, assist with case preparation, and help manage legal documents and client communications. Your contributions will play a key role in ensuring smooth case workflows and delivering excellent service to our clients.

We're looking for a true bulldog in the industry—someone who understands the value of hard work and is relentless in pursuing justice for our clients. If you’re looking for a dynamic environment where you can gain hands-on experience, develop your skills, and work alongside experienced attorneys and paralegals, this is the opportunity for you. We offer exposure to a variety of legal matters, mentorship, and a firm culture that values collaboration and professional growth.

What you'll do:

  • Case Support & Organization: Assist in managing litigation cases by ensuring case files are well-organized and deadlines are tracked. Prepare and format petitions, motions, and other legal documents in accordance with court requirements.
  • Document Preparation: Draft and format pleadings, discovery responses, and motions with attention to accuracy and legal compliance. Review and proofread documents before filing.
  • Client and Expert Coordination: Serve as a point of contact for clients, witnesses, and expert witnesses, gathering essential evidence and assisting with communications.
  • Trial Assistance: Support attorneys in all aspects of trial preparation, including compiling trial exhibits and ensuring case materials are readily accessible. Provide in-court assistance as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor paralegals, ensuring a high level of team productivity. Coordinate tasks effectively, contributing to the firm’s overall litigation success.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience, preferably in personal injury law. Prior exposure to larger, more complex cases and litigation is a plus. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing casework. (Medical malpractice experience is beneficial but not required.)
  • Longevity & Independence: Seeking a motivated candidate who can work independently on assigned tasks while also eager to learn and grow in a litigation-heavy environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Must exhibit strong organizational skills and accuracy in handling case files, drafting legal documents, and meeting deadlines.
  • Technology Skills: Comfortable using case management software and Microsoft Office. Willingness to learn and adapt to firm-specific tools, including DocIt.
  • Judgment & Social Media: Must demonstrate professionalism in communication and discretion in handling sensitive legal matters. Awareness of social media conduct and its impact on the firm's reputation is expected.
  • Drive and Grit: Strong commitment to delivering high-quality legal support, with the ability to manage workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork and Leadership: Ability to work closely with attorneys and senior paralegals, assisting with trial preparation, filings, and case support.

Our Core Values (G.R.E.E.N. C.O.R.E.):

  • Growth Mindset: Always eager to learn and improve.
  • Results-Driven: We strive for success in everything we do.
  • Ethical Integrity: Committed to doing the right thing, every time.
  • Empathy & Compassion: Understanding and addressing the needs of our clients.
  • Never Quit: Persistence is key to our success.
  • Candid Communication: Transparency and honesty in all interactions.
  • Ownership Mentality: Taking full responsibility from start to finish.
  • Relentless Excellence: We aim for excellence in every task.
  • Enduring Impact: Leaving a lasting, meaningful impression.

Why you should work here:

  • Make an Impact: Be part of a team that advocates for clients in serious personal injury cases. Your work will directly contribute to case success and client outcomes.
  • Career Development: Gain hands-on experience in litigation while working alongside experienced attorneys and paralegals. This role offers a clear path for professional growth, with opportunities to expand your skills and take on greater responsibilities over time.
  • Employees’ Lives: We encourage our employees to have a healthy work/life balance by providing a generous PTO policy for them to have a fulfilling life outside the firm. We also encourage personal growth and provide ample training to build their skills as legal professionals.
  • Clients’ Lives: At our firm, our clients are our number one priority, and we treat them like family. Many of our clients are struggling with personal matters, and we pride ourselves in providing efficient and constant legal service because that is what they expect when they come to our firm.
