With a rapidly growing team of approximately 80 employees across multiple offices, we are seeking a Finance Manager to join our leadership team. This pivotal role is essential for steering the financial direction of our firm, ensuring healthy growth, and implementing innovative financial processes. As the Finance Manager, you will be the architect of our financial strategy, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, optimizing profitability, and guiding the firm toward sustainable success.

What you’ll do:
- Financial Leadership: Own and oversee the finance department, including all financial operations, reporting, and strategy development.
- Process Improvement: Revamp, redesign, and enhance existing financial systems and processes, introducing innovative solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Cost Control and Profitability: Develop and implement plans to reduce costs and increase profitability, ensuring the firm's financial health and sustainable growth.
- Debt Management: Manage the firm's financial resources, including overseeing self-funding initiatives and effectively handling debt to fund cases and operations.
- Team Development: Build and lead a finance team, including hiring and mentoring an accounting professional to support departmental functions.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to align financial strategies with the firm's goals, participating in leadership meetings and contributing to decision-making processes.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other key financial metrics.
- Collaborate with the Data/IT Operations Manager: Work closely with the Data/IT Operations Manager to leverage data from modern tools, including Domo, Hona, Vineconnect, QuickBooks, Webex, and CRM systems like Lead Docket and Filevine, ensuring accurate financial reporting and data-driven decision-making.
- Technology Integration: Identify and implement advanced financial technologies and systems to streamline operations and enhance financial data analysis.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience: 3-7 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record in a company of similar size (75-80+ employees) and revenue (~$10 million per year).
- Data-Driven Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to assess financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable, data-driven plans for improvement.
- Technology and Data Proficiency: Familiarity with modern data tools, such as Domo, Hona, Vineconnect, QuickBooks, Webex, and CRM systems like Lead Docket and Filevine, to support data-driven financial decision-making and collaboration.
- Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated experience in leading and developing finance teams, with a focus on collaboration and mentorship.
- Innovative Mindset: A forward-thinking approach to financial management, with the ability to introduce and implement innovative processes and technologies.
- Strategic Orientation: Goal-oriented with the ability to align financial strategies with organizational objectives, contributing to the firm's overall success.
