We pride ourselves on offering exceptional, affordable legal solutions to individuals and families facing complex real estate issues. Our firm’s mission is deeply rooted in integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to empowering clients through comprehensive support.

With that being said, we are looking for a dedicated Paralegal to join our team. As a vital member of our firm, you will work closely with our lead attorneys—reporting directly to senior management—to manage case files, draft legal documents, and perform comprehensive legal research. This role is critical in ensuring that our legal operations are executed with precision and consistency.

We are seeking not only a skilled professional but also someone who is committed to a long-term career with our organization. If you are looking for a stable opportunity where you can grow and contribute over the years, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

Case Management

  • Assist assigned attorneys with case planning, development, and management.
  • Maintain a current list of active cases and monitor critical deadlines for hearings, depositions, and filings.
  • Organize and manage both electronic and physical case files to ensure timely and accurate tracking.

Documentation Preparation

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, and other legal documents with a keen eye for detail.
  • Prepare exhibits, affidavits, and supporting documentation as required.
  • Utilize the Florida E-Filing Portal to file documents accurately and efficiently.

Legal Research

  • Conduct legal research using platforms like LexisNexis, ensuring proper citation and application of relevant case law.
  • Summarize research findings to support attorney case strategy and decision-making.

Client Contact & Administrative Support

  • Communicate with clients regularly to update them on case progress and gather necessary documentation.
  • Utilize case management software to record billable hours and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Support attorneys with miscellaneous administrative tasks to ensure smooth case operations.

What we’re looking for:

Experience & Expertise

  • A minimum of 3–5 years of paralegal experience in a law firm setting, with a proven track record managing a robust caseload.
  • A strong background in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and responses—experience with personal injury or litigation files is a plus.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Exceptional legal writing and research skills, with proficiency in legal databases (e.g., LexisNexis) and case management software.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a natural fact-finder with an unwavering commitment to accuracy.
  • A self-starter who can work independently, manage multiple tasks, and hit the ground running without needing extensive hand-holding.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Candidates may be asked to complete a drafting exercise or provide a recent writing sample as part of the interview process.

Why you should work here:

  • Impactful Work: Your contributions will directly influence the success of our legal team, ensuring that our clients receive top-notch representation and that every case is handled with the utmost care and precision.
  • Professional Growth & Innovation: At Lopez Law Group, you will work alongside seasoned legal professionals in a supportive environment that values continuous learning, innovation, and career advancement. Every day offers opportunities to refine your skills and broaden your legal expertise.
  • Competitive Compensation & Benefits: we offer a competitive salary of  $45,000 - $55,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Additional Benefits: 100% paid health, vision, and dental insurance starting Day 1 (with the option to add spouse and dependents at the employee’s expense). Short-term and long-term disability coverage and a $50,000 life insurance policy

At Lopez Law Group, we work hard and stay humble. If you’re ready to embrace a challenging yet rewarding role where your skills and dedication will truly make a difference, take the next step and join our team.
