At USA Employment Lawyers, we are dedicated to protecting workers’ rights and achieving swift, favorable resolutions to a range of employment law issues, with a focus on Wage and Hour Class Action Claims. Led by Attorney Jordan Richards, Esq., our firm zealously represents clients throughout the entire United States. What sets us apart is our deep understanding of employment law and our commitment to achieving justice efficiently and compassionately.
With a results-driven approach, we leave no stone unturned in advocating for our clients, offering personalized attention and creative strategies to address each unique case. Thousands of employees trust us to be their counsel, confidante, and advocate in securing the compensation they deserve.
As our firm continues to grow, the Client Acquisitions & Case Development Coordinator role has become essential to driving that momentum. This position marks the critical first step in the client’s journey—identifying potential claims, gathering key facts, conducting early-stage legal assessments, and preparing cases for attorney review.
What you’ll do:
- Client Communication & Lead Qualification: Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients. Conduct preliminary interviews to gather essential employment and wage details, assess claim viability, and ensure timely follow-up so no opportunities are lost.
- Document Collection & Case Evaluation: Request and obtain paystubs, time records, and other relevant employment documents. Review and ensure completeness and accuracy to support legal evaluation.
- Company Investigation & Legal Analysis: Research employers to identify the proper legal entity for litigation, assess whether there are enough similarly situated employees to support a class or collective action, and evaluate the employer’s financial solvency.
- Case Preparation & Attorney Collaboration: Log all collected data into Clio, the firm’s case management software. Organize findings into clear, concise case summaries for attorney decision-making. Present evaluations in weekly meetings and follow up on next steps.
- Client Acquisition & Onboarding: Send retainer agreements to approved clients, guide them through the signing process, and ensure a smooth transition into active representation. Notify the legal team of new clients and initiate case setup in Clio.
- Process Improvement & Growth: Collaborate with leadership to enhance intake and case development workflows. As the firm scales, contribute to hiring and training future intake and case development specialists.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience: At least 3 years in a law firm role handling intake, client services, or case management; a background in sales, client acquisition, or customer relationship management is considered a strong plus.
- Language: Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Clio or similar legal case management software; highly comfortable with computers (especially Mac operating systems); familiarity or experience with CRM platforms is a plus, along with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Communication & Salesmanship Skills: Builds strong rapport with clients, guides conversations with confidence, and uses persuasive communication and salesmanship talents to gather critical information, build trust, and convert potential leads into active cases.
- Investigator’s Mindset: Brings curiosity, creativity, and persistence to every case. Thinks like a detective, uncovering information from multiple sources rather than relying on a single path.
- Independent & Solutions-Oriented: Able to think critically, solve problems independently, and navigate challenges with confidence. Brings strong judgment and intelligence to the role without requiring hand-holding or constant direction.
- Proactive & Accountable: Takes ownership of responsibilities with a strong sense of initiative and follow-through. Works diligently, follows up consistently, and stays focused on getting things done efficiently and accurately. Driven to achieve and committed to seeing tasks through to completion.
- Confident Communicator: An excellent communicator who makes clients feel valued and heard. Able to guide the call with clarity and control, gathering essential information and building trust throughout the conversation.
- Detail-Oriented & Precise: Careful and thorough in handling information, ensuring all notes, documentation, and follow-ups are accurate, complete, and well-organized.
- Adaptable & Ambitious: Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments. Demonstrates a desire to grow with the firm and take on increasing responsibility over time.
Why you should work here:
- Empowering Culture: Join a firm that values honesty, energy, and a commitment to excellence.
- Team Dynamics: Work with a vibrant, motivated team that loves collaboration and thrives on achieving shared goals.
- Growth Opportunities: Be part of a rapidly growing firm, with opportunities for personal and professional development.
- Meaningful Impact: Contribute to a mission that transforms lives, advocating for fairness and justice in the workplace.
