Based in Dallas, we bring a high-energy, creative approach to legal services, combining law, innovation, and community impact. Our expertise covers a wide range of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and premises liability.

We’re looking for a Paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering meaningful client outcomes. This key role will support our seasoned litigation attorney, Shanon Merino, in managing a caseload of about 75 cases. Your organizational skills, legal acumen, and client-focused mindset will ensure the efficient and effective handling of cases, from drafting and discovery to trial prep and client communication. Join us and play an integral part in our growing firm.

What you’ll do:

  • Discovery & Litigation Support: Draft and manage discovery responses, prepare petitions, coordinate deposition dates with opposing counsel, and maintain meticulous discovery records.
  • Demand & Trial Prep: Draft demand packages, organize trial binders, and assist in all trial preparation activities as needed.
  • Calendar Management: Maintain and monitor all litigation deadlines, including hearings, depositions, and filing dates.
  • Legal Research: Conduct targeted legal research to support case strategy and trial preparation.
  • Client Communication: Maintain proactive and compassionate communication with clients, providing updates and gathering necessary case details.
  • Medical Coordination: Request and track medical records and bills from providers, ensuring thorough documentation for settlement and litigation.
  • Deposition Coordination: Help manage all aspects of deposition scheduling and preparation, ensuring smooth collaboration with attorneys and clients.
  • System Management: Utilize Salesforce to manage case files, update workflows, and streamline task execution.
  • Bilingual Communication: Engage with Spanish-speaking clients and parties to ensure inclusivity and clarity throughout all legal processes.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on personal injury paralegal experience.
  • Language Proficiency: Must be fully bilingual—fluent in both Spanish and English, written and spoken.
  • Litigation Knowledge: Solid understanding of litigation timelines, discovery rules, and trial preparation procedures.
  • Technology Proficiency: Prior experience using Salesforce or similar legal practice management systems.
  • Organization & Precision: Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
  • People Skills: Compassionate communicator who understands the emotional toll legal matters can take on clients.
  • Autonomy & Accountability: Self-disciplined and proactive; able to take ownership of tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Cultural Fit: Adaptable to a young, creative, and high-energy culture. Enthusiastic about contributing ideas and being part of something bigger than yourself.

Why you should work here:

  • Purpose-Driven Culture: Join a firm where your work directly transforms lives. We advocate, support, and uplift—inside and outside the courtroom.
  • Energetic Team Environment: Work with a youthful, collaborative, and passionate team that values authenticity and respect.
  • Visionary Leadership: Partner with a leadership team open to bold ideas, new technologies, and unconventional community outreach.
  • Room to Grow: While we’re not in active hypergrowth, we're laying the groundwork for expansion—and you’ll be part of building that future.
  • Creative Culture: We do things differently—from engaging with our high-social media following to hosting culturally significant community events, you’ll be part of something that stands out in the legal space.

Additional perks:

  • 5 days PTO after your first year.
  • Enjoy all court-observed holidays.

At The Law Offices of Bryce Carpenter, your role as Paralegal is a unique opportunity to build legal legacies and client trust with every document filed, every phone call returned, and every hearing prepared. You won’t just be part of the legal process—you’ll be integral to how our firm delivers justice and care, every day.

So, are you ready to bring your legal skills to a firm that values boldness, empathy, and excellence?

Join us—and be part of rewriting what personal injury law can look like.
