Turner Ross Germain isn’t your typical law firm. Based in Marietta, Georgia, this tight-knit practice brings decades of legal experience to the table, combining the precision of litigation with the care of a client-first approach. With deep roots in personal injury and local government law — including land use, zoning, and appellate work — the firm is poised for a new chapter of growth and transformation.
Founded by three seasoned attorneys, Turner Ross Germain is now led by managing partners Valerie Ross and Meredith Germain, who have practiced together since 2011 and bring over 50 years of combined legal expertise. As they revamp the firm’s systems, brand, and team structure, they are building a foundation for long-term success — and inviting driven professionals to grow alongside them.
With that in mind, the firm is hiring a Case Manager to play a critical role in client care, file progression, and operational coordination. This person will be hands-on from day one, managing files from intake through demand preparation, and serving as a direct point of contact between clients, providers, and attorneys.
What you’ll do:
- Client Intake: Handle new client onboarding, set up claims, and secure police reports to get cases moving from day one.
- Treatment Coordination: Schedule medical appointments and maintain communication with providers to support seamless client care.
- Medical Records Management: Request, track, and organize medical records and bills to support demand prep and case progression.
- Lien Negotiation: Communicate with providers and insurance adjusters to resolve outstanding medical liens efficiently.
- Client Follow-Up: Monitor treatment progress and check in with clients regularly to ensure they feel supported and informed.
- Demand Preparation: Collaborate with the paralegal to compile complete demand packages — or draft them independently if qualified.
- Case File Management: Own case progress from intake through initial settlement offer, maintaining accurate, timely documentation.
- Technology Use: Work confidently in CasePeer, MyCase, Outlook, Google Suite, and other tools in a PC-based office.
- Attorney Communication: Provide regular updates and align directly with both managing attorneys on case status and priorities.
What we’re looking for:
- Legal Experience: 3–5 years of experience in a case management or intake role, preferably within a personal injury law firm.
- Personal Injury Knowledge: Familiarity with medical treatment timelines, insurance claims, police reports, and demand packages.
- Detail Orientation: High attention to detail when organizing records, tracking treatment, or communicating case updates.
- Client Communication: Comfortable engaging with clients in a supportive, professional manner throughout sensitive processes.
- Process Management: Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple active cases without missing deadlines.
- Initiative: Self-starter mindset with the ability to take ownership, follow through, and problem-solve independently.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes and systems are still being built.
- Technology Proficiency: Confident using CasePeer, MyCase, Outlook, and Google Suite within a PC-based office.
- Team Fit: Approachable, positive, and growth-minded — ready to collaborate directly with attorneys and grow alongside the firm.
Why you should work here:
- Make a Real Impact: You’ll play a vital role in ensuring clients feel supported and cared for while helping the firm operate more efficiently and effectively.
- Grow With the Firm: This is not a plug-and-play role. You’ll help shape the systems and processes — and have the opportunity to grow into a lead case manager as the team expands.
- Work With Experienced Mentors: Collaborate directly with two highly experienced attorneys who are committed to clear communication, open-door mentorship, and building something great.
- Build the Foundation: Join at a time of transformation — with a new website, branding, and vision in motion, you’ll help lay the groundwork for long-term growth and operational excellence.
- Upbeat, No-Drama Culture: Enjoy a casual, approachable, and focused office environment where trust, transparency, and collaboration are the norm.
Additional perks:
- Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage with premiums fully paid for employees.
- 401(k) Plan: Available after 6–12 months of employment, depending on individual arrangement.
- Paid Time Off: Accrued PTO begins after the first 90 days, with one day earned per month.
- Paid Holidays: All major holidays are paid.
- Vacation Time: One week of paid vacation after 6 months; a second week after one year.
If you’re looking for a job where you can coast, this isn’t it. We’re a small but mighty team rebuilding the foundation of a growing firm — and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to dig in and help us do it right. This role requires grit, initiative, and a passion for making things happen. We’re not rigid. We’re real. And we’re building something great — one case, one client, and one team member at a time.
