Generation Trust Law Group, established in 2010 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a prominent law firm specializing exclusively in Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration. Our practice extends across Michigan and Florida, reflecting our commitment to growth and industry leadership.

In recent years, we expanded into Florida by acquiring an established estate planning practice, marking a significant growth phase as demonstrated by our Tampa office becoming a high-revenue location. Our dedication to non-litigated solutions highlights our focus on efficient and empathetic estate services, ensuring our clients receive the highest quality assistance without the stress of contested legal proceedings. With multiple offices, we pride ourselves on a culture of stability, growth, and client-focused excellence, driven by the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) concept and a philosophy of "Right Person, Right Seat" to maintain peak operational effectiveness.

The Director of Operations at Generation Trust Law Group plays a crucial role in enabling leadership to focus on expansion and strategic initiatives. By managing day-to-day operations across our dual-state offices, this role ensures consistent, efficient processes and true operational harmony. You will own the company performance dashboard, serving as a conduit to leadership by curating and reporting key data on a consistent basis.
  • People Operations & Talent Management: Lead the employee experience from onboarding through offboarding by creating consistent, high-quality processes that support employee success. Maintain HR compliance, coordinate Mutual Accountability meetings, oversee personnel documentation, coordinate annual employee handbook updates and acknowledgments, and partner with leadership to support employee development, engagement, and organizational growth.
  • Office & Team Operations: Foster a highly functional, collaborative workplace by ensuring teams have the resources, systems, and support needed to perform at their best. Oversee office operations, facilities, vendors, equipment, and administrative processes while promoting consistency across multiple office locations. Act as a central resource for resolving operational challenges, improving workflows, and strengthening communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Financial Operations: Coordinate client deposits and oversee the operational flow of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Partner with leadership to monitor receivables, participate in AR strategy meetings, and help ensure financial processes are timely, accurate, and aligned with firm objectives.
  • Performance Management & Accountability: Champion a culture of accountability by leading weekly scorecard meetings, monitoring key performance indicators, identifying operational gaps, and driving follow-through on action items. Collaborate with leadership to develop meaningful role-specific KPIs and reporting that support individual and firm-wide success.
  • Culture & Organizational Leadership: Serve as a steward of the firm's culture by modeling its core values and fostering an environment built on trust, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Support leaders in creating an engaged, high-performing team while helping navigate change, reinforcing expectations, and strengthening communication across the organization.
