Senior Business Analyst

As a Senior Business Analyst, you have experience gathering and documenting product requirements. You are ready to collaborate closely with our creative teams to guide them with your product expertise. You have worked in a variety of systems environments and have at least a general understanding of the technology considerations and experience with UX teams and workflows. You are comfortable leading workshops, working meetings and presentations. You communicate in an empathetic, positive and friendly manner with a focus on clarifying business needs and customer service. Working with contractors, vendors and multiple processes and methodologies to manage requirements for all stakeholders. 


You will:

  • Business Process Re-engineering:
    • Contributes to the analysis of business processes to identify and clarify requirements
    • Contributes to improvements to business processes
    • Is able to analyze and assess an organization’s business model
  • Requirements Documentation:
    • Demonstrates an ability to express complex ideas clearly
    • Facilitates analysis, classification and documentation of requirements
    • Proposes an appropriate document-set for a project
    • Publishes, distributes and facilitates sign-off of requirements documentation
    • Manages changes to the requirements baseline
    • Supports impact analysis on changes to requirement(s) through project lifecycle
  • Eliciting Requirements:
    • Gathers, clarifies and validates requirements
    • Acts as interpreter who facilitates communication between clients and internal teams
    • Anticipates, quantifies and resolves problems and issues with requirements
  • Structured Analysis:
    • Uses data and process modelling techniques to identify and clarify requirements
    • Communicates with clients and internal teams to clarify and validate requirements
    • Uses data and process modelling tools
  • Testing:
    • Demonstrates knowledge of testing strategies, plans and execution
    • Participates actively in the development of testing strategies and plans
    • Designs user acceptance testing plans
    • Monitors user acceptance testing and responses to problems
  • IT Fluency:
    • Understands IT and project management concepts
    • Uses desktop productivity applications at an superior level
    • Is aware of the societal impact of information and information technology

You have:

  • 3 - 7 years experience as a Business Analyst in software or interactive web development initiatives
  • Experienced leading technical solutioning meetings
  • Experienced owning solutions and working through unplanned blockers
  • Experienced in running standup meetings
  • Experience owning product backlog, conducting backlog grooming, and prioritizing work for the team
  • Experienced in working in Agile and waterfall environments
  • Experienced managing stakeholders throughout the SDLC
  • Experienced in eliciting requirements off diverse stakeholders group
  • Experienced in managing change requests
  • Experienced using various techniques to gather requirements
  • Experienced created user stories, BRD, test cases, and all types of diagrams
  • Experienced maintaining product documentation
  • Experienced creating training documents and user manuals
  • Experience creating and giving presentations to diverse stakeholders group
  • A self-starter drive and require minimum amount of oversight
  • Experience collaborating with UX/UI teams
  • Broad knowledge of programs, projects and knowledge management processes and toolsets
  • Knowledge of user-centered content development, interface design, information architecture, digital branding and marketing communications

We continually review ranges to address skills, experience and markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position. For current CM employees, tenure will also be a consideration.

Salary Range

$125,000 - $160,000 USD
