Content Director
As the Media Director, Content you are responsible for the coordination, management, leadership and evolution of the media content strategy across various platforms for a group of Critical Mass’ accounts. This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating the contracting, creative ideation (in partnership with the media partner and clients), talent, pre-pro and post-pro, onsite logistics and reporting to ensure these programs maximize the client business / marketing objectives. Your role is both strategic oversight and tactical. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating engaging, high-quality content that aligns with brand objectives and resonates with our audience. This role requires excellent project management skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to successfully collaborate across multiple parties.
You will:
- Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and content gaps.
- Create project timelines that ensure consistent, timely content delivery.
- Content Creation & Optimization
- Oversee the production of content for mainly for media but collaborate with other channels to ensure all needs are met.
- Plan for, review and ensure all content adheres to brand voice, style, and quality standards.
- Route creative through all necessary parties, including but not limited to legal and clients
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Work across internal multiple teams (media planning, media investment, talent, creative, social) and media partners.
- Build relationships with clients and become their trusted "go to" resource for anything content within the media team.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Track content performance metrics (e.g., traffic, engagement, conversions) using analytics tools.
- Present insights and recommendations to improve content effectiveness.
You have:
- Strong understanding of media landscape.
- Proven experience in content management.
- Experience in contracting and managing productions including pre-pro and post-pro work.
- Experience managing and ensuring adherence to a brand's identity.
- Comfortability with managing talent.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while paying attention to details.
- Ability to work effectively under stressful situations and time constraints.
- Ability to work effectively across functional groups or geographic offices.
- Good project management, planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, yet seek help when needed.
- Independent and able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity.
- Flexible and able to quickly adapt to new situations.

Salary Range
$160,000 - $170,000 USD
