Learning and Development Coordinator
We are looking for a professional junior instructional/Graphic Designer and administrator to design, develop, coordinate, and measure engaging learning experiences. The goal is to support learners in acquiring new knowledge, skills, attitudes, and competencies in an effective and engaging manner. Please note that this is a junior role, so we are not expecting you to have all the requisite skills and knowledge immediately. We will support you with training and coaching to fulfill your potential.
You will
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances learning retention and transfer
- Work with the VP, L&D, to help identify the target audience’s training needs
- State instructional end goals and create content that matches them
- Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface,e and the finished product
- Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
- Apply tested instructional design theories, practice, and methods
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, game,s etc)
- Decide on the criteria used to judge learners’ performance and develop assessment instruments
- Maintain project documentation and course folders
- Convert existing training material into online courses
- Support the development of learning plans for our 11 practice areas based on our competencies
- Monitor and capture course completion and engagement metrics monthly omore frequentlyer
- Support end users and troubleshoot access and use of our LMS system (Cornerstone)
- Manage all tuition reimbursement and online training requests from request to completion.
- Respond to general queries from our employees about our learning offerings, platforms, and programs.
You have
- Advanced English level B2+
- Base knowledge of learning theories, instructional technology, and instructional design models
- Lesson and curriculum planning skills
- Basic HTML or CSS programming knowledge (for layout configuration of our One Learning Tool aka Cornerstone)
- Some knowledge or experience working with content-authoring tools, like Articulate 360
- 1+ years experience with a Learning Management System (Cornerstone preferably)
- Visual design skills (i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
- Ability to write compelling copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
- Certificate or degree in instructional design, educational technology, or similar preferred
