Senior Creative Engineer - Design, Contract

As a Contract Sr. Creative Engineer, you are a seasoned professional in digital design at high scale, thriving in a fast paced, high stakes, and highly sensitive environment. You will work with a multi discipline team including creatives, designers, and cross agency partners to ensure artwork is designed at scale to the strictest brand and regulatory standards. You possess a meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability for the quality, compliance, and confidentiality of every deliverable. You are highly skilled in leveraging automation and production platforms, and you proactively mentor others while contributing to a culture of security, accuracy, and process.


 

You will

  • Collaborate with the Creative Team and partner agencies to bring ideas to life, ensuring strict adherence to best practices, brand standards, and client mandated security protocols.
  • Oversee and support the use of industry leading creative production platforms, ensuring all workflows are compliant, efficient, and error free.
  • Proactively bring forth ideas to improve team systems and processes for greater workflow efficiency, compliance, and quality control.
  • Work with internal teams, account, creative, and external partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of final files.
  • Design to pixel perfection, translating key art into the various resizes and versions required by the digital media buy, always upholding the highest standards of detail and compliance.
  • Become fully ingrained in the brand’s design templates, acting as a gatekeeper for brand guidelines and quality.
  • Mentor junior Creative Engineers, fostering a culture of process discipline, attention to detail, and security first thinking.
  • Understand technical limitations that may affect what can be achieved creatively in various media types and propose compliant, fit for platform solutions
  • Build clean, compliant creative files to help manifest the development of an efficient working framework.
  • Stay current on best practices within platforms like Celtra and other related digital production solutions, adapting quickly to process or regulatory changes.
  • Create and maintain detailed production guides and workflow documentation to support team consistency and compliance.
  • Ensure all deliverables are thoroughly reviewed for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and client specific requirements before release.

 

You have

  • 3–5 years of experience working as a production designer or designer in a high output, high stakes, deadline driven environment (agency, production studio, or similar).
  • Hands on experience, and interest, in creative automation and creative production platforms.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Familiarity with Figma/Sketch and Keynote/PowerPoint; able to leverage as needed.
  • Demonstrated expertise in high volume design workflows and digital asset production. Experience collaborating with internal teams, partner agencies, and external vendors.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Experience working with confidential or regulated content, understanding the critical importance of security, compliance, and accurate output.
  • Experience in layout production, image optimization, static/animated advertising banners, email production, and visual guidelines.
  • The mindset to be a mentor and a role model for security, compliance, and quality within the team.
