Activation Director

New York

ArtBot (part of Critical Mass)

ArtBot is a digital agency specializing in creative strategies and ad production across a wide variety of screens, formats, clients, and verticals. Our core focus is the design and production of Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO)—delivering data-driven, audience-first creative that performs across programmatic advertising channels.

We’re proud to be wholly owned by Omnicom Media Group, offering seamless integration with agencies like OMD, PHD, and H&S. While we benefit from the strength of a global network, ArtBot has retained the energy, agility, and collaborative spirit of a startup.

Our team includes strategists, designers, developers, analysts, technicians, and relationship managers. Together, we’ve produced impactful creative for brands like Volkswagen, Audi, McDonald’s, Pepsi, Canon, Barclays, and Levi’s—blending data, creativity, and proprietary technology to drive performance.

We’re looking for a Creative Activation Director to lead a pod within our growing team. This group manages the end-to-end activation of DCO campaigns across display, video, and social channels.

You Have:

  • 5+ years in ad operations

  • Deep knowledge of digital media platforms and setups

  • Proven experience managing teams with multiple direct reports

  • Advanced Excel skills and strong numerical capability

  • Demonstrated ability to drive workflow/process change

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities

  • Confident communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams

  • Familiarity with DCO platforms such as DoubleClick Studio, Flashtalking, Sizmek, Adform, Smartly, or Clinch

  • Working knowledge of CSS, HTML5, or JavaScript

  • Experience collaborating with product or development teams

  • Understanding of creative production processes and agency workflows

  • Exposure to site tagging and audience segmentation

Our new hires & employees are the future of our organization, and we want to set you up for long-term success.  In an effort to do so, we expect our team to work from an office a minimum of 3 days a week.

We continually review ranges to address skills, experience and markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position. For current CM employees, tenure will also be a consideration.
