Account Director

Nashville

Join Critical Mass as an Account Director leading marketing initiative—bringing cross channel programs from strategy through launch and optimization.  This is a high visibility, hands on leadership role embedded with the client.  You’ll steer full funnel digital marketing across evergreen programs, major launches, and sales driving moments for a brand with real momentum.  If you thrive on pace, crisp decision making, and building trusted client partnerships, this is your stage!

You Will:

  • Lead day to day and monthly campaign fulfillment while shaping future campaign development and go to market plans
  • Own strategy and execution across digital channels—paid social, paid search, CTV, and technical partners—balancing retail/performance with brand priorities
  • Guide both client and internal teams to deliver digital marketing work on brief, on budget, and on schedule in an always on environment
  • Partner closely with media and CRM to align media plans, creative, CRM, and site experiences into cohesive full funnel programs
  • Lead integrated initiatives from inception through final execution, trafficking, QA, and optimization
  • Serve as the senior, front facing client lead onsite—building trust, facilitating decisions, and moving work forward
  • Manage financials, forecasting, and profitability; ensure accurate SOWs are scoped, documented, and implemented
  • Drive account growth through consultative recommendations, performance insights, and clear roadmaps
  • Deliver reporting on work quality, performance, and relationship health; translate results into next step actions
  • Coach, mentor, and mobilize cross functional teams (Creative, Strategy, MKS, Traffic, Production) while remaining a hands-on operator who can get in the weeds
  • Define and champion best practices across the business unit and contribute to Client Services excellence at Critical Mass

You Have:

  • 8–10+ years of agency side account leadership in digital marketing; director level presence with the ability to ramp quickly. Strong senior AM/brand managers ready to step up are welcome—if you can lift immediately
  • Proven ownership of media plans and end-to-end digital campaign fulfillment across paid social, paid search, and CTV; comfort partnering with technical and measurement vendors
  • Demonstrated ability to craft strategy: define the work, shape the brief, and connect channels to outcomes
  • A track record balancing performance needs with brand building in a fast paced, always on environment with frequent launches/updates
  • Automotive experience is a plus. Experience in similarly fastmoving categories is essential; ability to drive monthly momentum is critical
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure. You are confident in the room, and highly collaborative—assertive yet respectful, building decisions through relationship and clarity
  • Financial acumen (forecasting, profitability), complex SOW management, and comfort delivering annual services revenues in excess of $5MM
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, especially with senior stakeholders
  • A user centric mindset for digital experiences (site and marketing) and the ability to connect creative, media, and product to business outcomes

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

An "active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran" means a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized under the laws administered by the Department of Defense.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
