Senior Paid Search Strategist

The Senior Paid Search Strategist is responsible for hands-on-keys creation, execution, and optimization of Paid Search accounts. This person will be working directly under the Manager to ensure all Paid Search best practices are executed and communicated out to the clients.   
 
The Senior Paid Search Strategist serves as a member of the core Critical Mass Marketing and Media team, which partners with a client or clients in tandem with the Client Services team. The Senior Paid Search Strategist is responsible for maintaining client satisfaction regarding Paid Search goals, communication of those goals, and education of future priorities and opportunities. 


You Will:

  • Add a Paid Search perspective to the strategic and tactical direction for assigned clients. 
  • Develop and deliver organic growth within accounts.
  • Deliver reporting and analysis for assigned clients and campaigns. 
  • Create bid strategy and budgeting rules of engagement for Paid Search.
  • Implement optimizations to make sure client goals are met.
  • Create new campaigns, ad groups, and ads to help improve Paid Search performance.
  • Foster relationships with search, planning, analytics, and other media teams across the company.
  • Primary contact for Paid Search questions and ad hoc requests for designated clients.
  • Define and implements best practices for Paid Search.
  • Work with the broader team of media experts and Directors to holistically plan SEM strategies and execution.
  • Step in seamlessly at critical moments to provide direction and support, ensuring the teams remain on track to achieve goals and deadlines.

You Have:

  • 2+ years in the Search Marketing space.
  • A demonstrative understanding of Paid Search.
  • Familiarity with the wider Google ads platform - Google Display network, Performance Max, Demand Gen
  • Familiarity with third party Search bidding technology - Adobe, Marin, Search Ads 360 is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The Ability to work in a constantly evolving industry. 
  • The capability to recommend new strategies, tactics, and track trends in Search and apply them to assigned clients or verticals. 
  • Strong presentation development and delivery skills.
  • Previous experience mentoring junior team members.
