Overview
As a Senior Product Engineer on CGAI team and an expert in AI-driven production workflows, you are responsible for following and precisely articulating creative objectives and art direction within the team. You are a hands-on leader in executing creative ideas, mastering and managing production pathways across both 3D and complex AI pipelines. This includes deploying advanced, node-based AI workflows to achieve high levels of photorealism and creative control. You will collaborate with Lead Product Engineers, creatives and clients to shape initial concepts and ideas. This involves leading the advanced generative AI exploration, including iterative prompting and complex image and video generation strategies, to ensure creative and client objectives are met. You are a key member contributing live during real-time 3D and AI production sessions.

Role description
Senior Product Engineer is at the heart of turning complex creative ideas into amazing 3D and AI visuals. Your expertise in various platforms and extensive knowledge of 3D visual development and generative AI integration capabilities allow you to build high-fidelity, photo real 3D and AI visuals for our clients. You're also crucial in conceiving new concepts and bringing them to life, using the full spectrum of 3D and AI tools to set higher standards for our work and production efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Intake and process complex CAD and/or FBX files for final use in Unreal Engine and AI
  • Import and verify 3D model and textures
  • Identify and correct geometry and texture mapping issues
  • Assign and optimize textures in multiple lighting scenarios
  • Manage vehicle model variations and material library
  • Render high-quality, photo-real prototypes and fidelity samples for use in AI training
  • Drive the execution of complex Full AI-Generated and AI-Assisted 3D production and master advanced iterative creative prompting and node-based workflows
  • Mentor junior team in the use of AI tools and best practices, including AI in/out painting and strategic prompting
  • Conduct initial AI stability and quality reviews, ensuring all content (AI-generated or 3D) meets standards for photorealism, brand fit, and 100% pixel-perfection on product-correct elements
  • Blueprint complex node-based AI still and animation workflows
  • Prompt, model, texture and animate templated elements in 3D and AI
  • Prompt custom medium-large scale AI environments
  • Ideate, plan and execute AI-assisted vehicle, environment, people and camera templates
  • Setup and animate weather and lighting inside 3D and AI scenes
  • Place and animate virtual 3D and AI cameras
  • Animate and blueprint 3D and AI models
  • Integrate AI production processes in building environments, sets and generating dynamic elements (people, camera paths)
  • Continuously optimize all 3D and AI workflow tracks and implement learnings
  • Actively contribute during design review and creative ideation sessions
  • Estimate level of effort for yourself and your team members
  • Participate in Real-Time Virtual Production sessions with creatives

 

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience with Generative AI prompting for image and video creation
  • 2+ years of experience in senior role
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive advertising
  • 4+ years hands on experience with 3D software and real-time game engines
  • Demonstrable experience in setting strategy and leading teams in generative AI, particularly for CGAI workflows
  • Strong understanding of AI governance, ethics, social responsibility, cultural sensitivity, and the challenges of maintaining brand integrity in the age of AI
  • Experience with film, real-time development and virtual production
  • Proficiency in post-production, VFX and high-end rendering pipelines
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest 3D, Unreal Engine and AI best practices
  • Experience with pipeline management, data management and asset tracking software
  • Emerging leadership and team building skills
