Marketing Science Associate Analyst
As an Analyst, your curiosity never ends. The next question is always on your mind, helping you to
understand how marketing science fits in the big picture of a project. You bring 1 to 3 years of
experience, leading marketing science deliverables across a broad range of initiatives and focusing on at
least two of the following areas: tracking and measurement, implementation, reporting, data strategy,
data engineering, data visualization, testing and evaluation, data integration, or statistical modeling. You
have experience using data analytics to recommend solutions to improve digital marketing performance,
enjoy collaborating with others, and are capable of directly communicating business insights to clients
through logical, easy to understand stories.
You will:
• Build deep knowledge of client business, make relevant recommendations, identify actionable
insights.
• Analyze complex data to find patterns, solve problems, and identify opportunities.
• Turn data into actionable insights through storytelling and data visualization.
• Design, build and automate analyses, reports, dashboards, and other deliverables.
• Gather marketing data across paid and owned channels to analyze campaign performances,
understand user behaviors, and report findings.
• Assist in the ideation, development, and execution of measurement frameworks.
• Determine and implement methods to improve analytics processes.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and partner agencies to deliver comprehensive solutions to
both internal and client requests.
• Occasionally support senior colleagues with analytics material for new business pitches and
request for proposals.
You have:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with website measurement; either Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, including tag
management platforms (GTM, Adobe Launch, Tealium, etc.,) and one or more testing platforms
(Optimizely, Adobe Target, Monetate, etc.). Adobe analytics experience is a plus.
• Experience with one or more visualization platforms (Tableau, Domo, PowerBI, Datorama, etc.).
Tableau experience a plus.
• Experience with Python, R, SQL, or other business-relevant statistical programming language is a
plus.
• Experience working with statistical analysis techniques and quantitative methods.
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects at the same time, proactively communicating
needs, roadblocks, and statuses to the necessary people.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and high standard of output.
• A drive to keep learning and offer your team support to grow and learn.
• Problem-solving skills: the ability to thrive in the face of ambiguity and move projects forward by
actively removing barriers and defining next steps.
• Media/Marketing:
• An understanding of the media landscape, ability to determine which channels are most
appropriate based on business objectives, and experience using the data to make
recommendations.
• An understanding of how Search Engine Optimization (SEO) works alongside other channels,
and experience analyzing it.
