Sr. Manager, Merchandising

Job Summary

The position holder will manage the strategic merchandising direction for Crocs business, covering Asia level with retail mindset. This includes the overall product merchandising, market trend analysis, product segmentation and assortment direction. 

This position will manage deliverables and implement tactics and strategies against defined business metrics to deliver the quarterly and annual business objectives.

This role is a member of regional merch team and need to agile and acts as a key voice for the region. The role also works closely with country-level cross functional groups to develop and execute appropriate course(s) of action for product launches, inventory shortages/excesses and end-of-life product promotions.

 

Job Description

  • Develop and communicate merchandising direction for Asia direct channels – to ensure successful execution of APAC merchandising strategies for all markets.
  • Build and develop product assortment plans for different segmentation through aligned channel strategy and market analysis.
  • Close Monitor product performance by generating weekly reports and dashboard with action and solution for achieving target.
  • Provide clear guideline to broader team and working closely with Planning, Allocation, Marketing and VM to execute the assortment plan for landing to support achieving targets.
  • Support on merchandising projects such as O9 system, MSRP review, Weekly Dashboard enhancement, Assortment to live, JBZ process.
  • Analyze Sell out data, current and historical trends, financial target to identify risks and opportunities. Also work closely with cross functional team for all Crocs key milestones and tasks.

 

Deliverables:

  • Analysis and share weekly reporting on findings and action plan by country
  • Drive development and achievement of the seasonal merchandising plan that aligns with the financial plans.
  • Drives the GTM process and is responsible end-to-end from seasonal kick off through product disposition.
  • Accountable for inventory targets with a shared responsibility with planning team. Inventory responsibility includes what merchandise is purchased, how it flows, and where it is sold to maximize product margin and market development.

Other Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of retail management experience, preferably in fashion/ lifestyle industry with at least 6 years in retail merchandising with top local/regional retailers.
  • Creative and effective problem solving skills.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
  • Willing to challenge the status quo and embrace changes.
  • Highly collaborative with excellent teaming and interpersonal skills
  • Able to travel up to 30%.
