Master Data Analyst

Job Summary

This position will be responsible for maintaining and improving Master Data in key systems as well as resolving data quality problems through appropriate choice of error detection and corrections. You will have an exciting variety of Master Data activities across a wide range of areas – Customer, Vendor, Value Added Services (VAS), Pricing data areas. Every day will be different, and you will have the opportunity to develop your existing Master Data knowledge and experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day global data maintenance for master data objects.
• Execute requests to SAP master data as approved by the business.
• Perform all master data related activities with accuracy and within established service level agreements.
• Support team by validating master data requests prior to execution to maintain quality data management.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance to procedures and company’s compliance policy.
• Ensure data quality, compliance and consistency of master data across business systems.
• Troubleshooting of issues with cross functional teams and report any unusual issues or discrepancies to team lead.
• Perform other duties assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience.
• Experience working in an ERP environment, inclusive of SAP.
• Preferred experience with SAP master data management.
• General knowledge of master data and how it applies to business.
• Prior experience in using Winshuttle will be an added advantage but not necessary.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills and logical thinking skills.
• Able to solve master data problems independently and work well in a team environment.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Able to efficiently prioritize work and timely inform stakeholders on the progress in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with technology and learning new software/process.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
