Position Overview
Crocs is hiring a Senior Manager of Integrated Marketing in Japan, a critical role on our highly innovative, highly collaborative, high performing JAPAN marketing team. Equal parts creative and analytical, strategic and action-oriented, this key player will be responsible for leading strategy and execution of consumer communications for the brand. Our ideal candidate is a challenger; they challenge the status quo, challenge the team to think outside the box, and challenge our ability to move faster, smarter and to relentlessly innovate in the space. The person who leads brand digitally led strategy that is our heartbeat. S/he will have the direct opportunity to shape, nurture, and further catapult Crocs into becoming one of the most iconic footwear again. This role requires people management skill to drive highly talented team members with different expertise’s to brand success.

Responsibilities Include
- Lead Japan consumer marketing strategy with 360 holistic point of view that drives consumer resonace connecting to youth culture in fashion, music and art
- Drive and execute brand strategies and seasonal initiatives with a digital first mindset
- Be an intersection of Japan offense functions (Merchandising, Sales and Ecom) to ensure the aligned campaigns/products launches against global timeline
- Work closely and collaboratively across Crocs Global/Geo/Local marketing teams to champion digitally led ideas and execute integrated activations, events and strategies in a locally insightful way
- Operationalize Global/Geo marketing playbooks and toolkits with channel guidelines to enable the consistent consumer communications across the touch points
- In partnership with agency partners, 1) drive Influencer Marketing strategy that keeps Crocs ahead of competition and further drives the brand authentication, 2) lead develop the optimal PR strategy for Crocs that maximizes earned media efficiency and effectiveness, and 3) lead optimal creative contents strategy and production that best drives the engagement with local consumers and 4) lead consumer facing activities with digital and physical integration to provide the best brand experience and amplification on digital
- Lead to support channel teams to develop channel-specific marketing activations/promotions to further establish strategic channels expansion with brand marketing
BASIC QUALIFICATION
- Marketing & consumers:
- Minimum 8 years of marketing experience in general brand management or brand communications (ideally at sporting goods/fashion/lifestyle or FMCG industries) or such related functions
- Worked in a multinational company environment and appreciates the local / regional / global relationships
- Experience working with marketing using actionable insights and applying learnings
- In depth of consumer analytics skill and experiences in the expertise
- Experience in leading the projects that starts from ideations, agency briefing, proposals, productions, executions and reviews for the next
- Experience in generating and executing digitally led brand campaigns across platforms
- Preferable to have experience in managing GTM priorities and calendar alignment
- Business skill:
- In depth understanding of the omni-channel landscape, user experience and our digital platforms
- Brand budget management
- Able to set KPIs and measure its effectiveness/results
- People management, team lead:
- Experience people management or have capability to prove people leader competency
- Experience working with multiple teams (including agency partners) or on multiple projects simultaneously under complexity (multiple stakeholders, complexed Projects) and still delivering results
- Decent decision-making skills with proven ability to drive direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Competency:
- Highly motivated problem solver with ability to understand challenges or underlying opportunities, who is willing to learn and grow together with us
- Track record of driving adoption of new ideas and concepts, driving into executions, while pioneering new approaches within his/her team or company
- Extreme attention to details with relentlessly high standards
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Japanese including, meeting facilitation and making persuasive presentations and documentations
- Innate willingness to roll up your sleeves with agility
