Introduction on the role:
The HRBP, Europe Retail formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to leadership and employees that reflect the business strategies of the Retail organization. The HRBP position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and leadership for the Retail Field and will work to become a trusted advisor to leaders and have the ability to pivot between strategy and tactical execution seamlessly. The HRBP assesses and anticipates HR-related needs and serves as a consultant to leadership on people issues, while acting as a change agent.
What will you do?
Employee Relations
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to support group (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Partners closely with appropriate leaders to support employee relations efforts. Involves other experts, partners and COEs where needed.
- Supports retail field leadership with effective investigations and outcomes.
HRBP/COE Liaison
- Partners with Talent Acquisition for recruiting and onboarding needs.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Acts as the primary point of contact to designated support groups for all HR matters, partners with HR specialists to successfully implement Talent Development, Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition processes and initiatives.
Manager and Individual Contributor HR Support
- Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units at the individual contributor and middle manager level.
- Provides input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Help coordinate engagement and culture activities for the Crocs’ site which can include health and wellness. Will partner with other Crocs’ brands.
Who are you?
- Bachelors degree and relevant industry experience
- 3+ years of experience working as an HRBP in a Retail environment
- Has worked across a number of European countries with working knowledge of legislation and best practice
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, and performance management,
- Proven track record as a partner to business leaders
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of organization in person and virtually
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to influence others
- Ability to analyze data to make decisions and/or recommendations that impact the business
- Strong ability to manage conflict
- Ability to facilitate meetings and training sessions
- Demonstrated sensitivity to confidential materials/issues
- Proven success in a fast paced environment.
