Introduction on the role:
As an integral part of Supply Chain, the Global Trade Compliance Team is responsible for mitigating risk while controlling duty spend throughout Croc’s Global Network. The Sr. Global Trade Compliance Specialist will support import/export operations in EMEALA (Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America) while ensuring compliance with international trade laws and regulations and aid in functions relating to Harmonized Tariff Classification, Country of Origin, Valuation, and Free Trade Agreement management.
What will you do?
- Support and manage global trade compliance programs to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on trade compliance matters
- Stay abreast of changes in trade laws and regulations to ensure our processes align with current standards
- Work closely with external partners, customs brokers, and government agencies to facilitate smooth import and export processes
- Support daily import process into EMEA countries
- Maintain import/export compliance manuals
- Analyze and deliver improvement and/or cost savings opportunities
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in global trade compliance, preferably in the footwear or fashion industry.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs laws, and import/export compliance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Advance English language skills.
- Experience with automated trade compliance management systems.
- Familiarity with trade agreements and preference programs.
- Strong understanding of HTS classifications (experience with footwear a plus).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and stay organized.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 EUROS
