Sr. Treasury Manager

Introduction on the role: 

This role is part of a team responsible for Treasury in Crocs and HEYDUDE entities, focusing in part on the implementation of Crocs’ In-House Bank (IHB) and the go forward management of the IHBThe role requires strong experience managing financial resources, optimizing liquidity, and mitigating financial risks, and a strong background in Treasury, Finance, and AccountingThe position will be in contact with global business leaders in Treasury, Tax, IT, Accounting and Shared Services at Crocs. 

 

What will you do? 

  • Cash Management: 
  • Oversee daily cash positioning, forecasting, and liquidity management 
  • Monitor cash balances across accounts and optimize cash flow 
  • Coordinate the global flow of funds for Crocs entities, ensuring minimum cash requirements are met, and maximizing repatriation of funds to Crocs US entities 
  • Execute payments, manage wire transfers, and maintain banking relationships 
  • Strategically design physical cash pools with the Global Treasury team for global Crocs entities  
  • Research and implement cash investments, following guidance from Crocs’ Debt and Investment policy 
  • Migrate daily cash management and forecasting procedures from excel based workbooks into Crocs’ GTreasury Treasury Management System (TMS) 

 

  • Bank Account Management: 
  • Analyze Crocs’ global bank account structure with the goal of reducing physical bank accounts in favor of virtual bank accounts 
  • Complete Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation to both open new bank accounts and maintain annual compliance with banks 
  • Lead Crocs’ IHB project and manage the Treasury aspects of the IHB going forward 
  • Maintain bank account records in TMS 

 

  • Risk Management: 
  • Centralize FX risk at IHB entity to the greatest extent possible, communicating effectively with the US Treasury Manager on FX exposures 

 

  • Policies and Compliance: 
  • Ensure compliance with internal SOX controls and policies governing Treasury 
  • Complete quarterly and annual SOX control updates and testing 
  • Maintain documented policies and procedures 
  • Ensure compliance with Treasury Debt and Investment policy 

 

  • Intercompany Debt Management: 
  • Track daily physical cash pooling movements, recording movements similar to revolving intercompany loans, in Crocs’ TMS 
  • Communicate with Global Tax team to ensure transfer pricing and applicable regulations are met 
  • Responsible for maintaining IHB specific loans in the Financial Instruments module of TMS. 

 

  • Report to the Senior Manager, Global Treasury (based in Broomfield, USA). 
  • Serve as the back-up for the Treasury Manager in the EMEALA region in cash management, cash forecasting, and day-to-day tasks for the EMEALA region.  

 

Who are you? 

  • 10+ years of experience in Treasury roles 
  • HBO or WO education 
  • Technical knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS for cash and intercompany debt 
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP) 
  • Knowledge of TMS systems (preferably GTreasury) 
  • Experience in physical cash pooling and IHB structures 
  • Strong communication skills, to be applied with internal and external business partners (bank relationships) 
  • Experience with SOX / Internal controls 
  • Experienced Excel user 
  • Strong English, both verbal and written 
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal
