Senior Specialist Multi Brand Merchandising (Korea)

Introduction on the role: 

The Senior Specialist, Multi Brand Merchandising, is responsible for driving the merchandising vision in the wholesale multi-brand channel for Crocs, the industry-leading casual footwear brand known for its comfortable, fun, and innovative product lines. This role plays a critical part in executing the regional and local product strategies, including assortment planning and merchandising vision, to achieve brand and revenue goals, maximize sales growth, and enhance profit margins through a consumer-centric approach aligned with the global brand strategy. 

Partnering with cross-functional teams, the Senior Specialist ensures that the product assortment resonates with the target consumers and supports Crocs' growth in the Korean market. 

 

What will you do? 

Consumer-Centric Assortment Planning: 

  • Develop and implement data-driven, consumer-centric assortment plans for multi-brand channels, ensuring alignment with brand and revenue objectives by store banner. 

Assortment Execution: 

  • Build and drive assortments tailored to target consumers, prioritizing product categories and ensuring alignment with key product strategies. 

Sell-In Process Support: 

  • Support the sell-in process, including pre-line and sales meetings, by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver effective presentations and product positioning. 

Seasonal Product Storytelling: 

  • Present comprehensive seasonal product stories during sales meetings, aligning with the overall brand vision and regional strategy. 

Performance Reporting & Analysis: 

  • Provide regular performance reports (monthly and quarterly) that include market trends, account analysis, and actionable insights to inform future merchandising decisions. 

Promotion & Inventory Management: 

  • Collaborate with Direct-to-Consumer buyers and wholesale teams to plan promotional strategies that drive product margins and achieve inventory targets. 

Forecasting & Inventory Support: 

  • Work with wholesale and APAC planning teams to support forecasting efforts and ensure multi-brand inventory alignment with market needs. 

Collaboration & Special Projects: 

  • Collaborate with the APAC merchandising team to develop country-specific collaborations and special make-up (SMU) products to drive local business growth. 

Cross-Functional Team Coordination: 

  • Ensure clear communication and alignment between Crocs APAC teams and internal cross-functional teams, including sales, planning, and marketing. 

Pricing Strategy Support: 

  • Assist in country-level pricing strategies, taking into account market conditions, product margins, and the global pricing framework. 

 

Who are you? 

  • Degree in Merchandising, Business Management, Retail Management, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in global brands. 
  • Strong understanding of the market landscape and consumer insights, with a focus on fashion and trends. 
  • Proven ability to translate consumer insights and market trends into commercially viable merchandising strategies. 
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data and generate actionable insights. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Flexibility to travel when required.
