Sr. Visual Merchandising Specialist, Retail

Introduction on the role: 

The Sr. Visual Merchandising Specialist Retail will support the Regional VM Manager driving the VM strategy across Direct and Partner Crocs Retail stores across the region and work closely with cross functional partners including Global Visual Merchandising, regional Merchandising, regional Marketing, country Sales and Retail Ops and Field Teams. The role is part of the Regional Marketing team. 

 

What will you do? 

  • Collaborate with the Regional VM Manager in establishing visual merchandising regional tools to ensure Retail vision and product stories are effectively brought to life in the marketplace aligned with Global Visual Merchandising strategy and translated effectively for the region.   
  • Develop VM directives for each season, store size, segmentation and seasonality that bring cohesive brand experience, drive sales while maintaining excellent visual standards.  
  • Work with internal and external agencies to brief and allocate in-store marketing, fixtures and props.    
  • Drive execution of the regional Retail GTM and Window plan aligned with Marketing & Product calendars.  
  • Lead the development and execution of retail marketing strategies ensuring timely and quality delivery and alignment with overarching business objectives.  
  • Take ownership of seasonal retail marketing plans, oversee implementation and optimize effectiveness to drive sales and brand growth.  
  • Provide market insights and reporting by country and identify and share best practices across key markets.   
  • Review store execution quarterly to ensure high standards of product presentation, to understand challenges and identify solutions and training needs.  
  • Drive Regional Training opportunities aligned to global initiatives and regional calendar.  
  • Develop and coach a group of store VM champs that can effectively execute VM guidelines and directives in collaboration with the Retail Operations department and Field Teams.  
  • Play a key role within the cross-functional team on key store openings and renovations driving visual and marketing tools.  

 

Who are you? 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field.   
  • 5+ years of retail or visual merchandising experience, preferably in footwear/apparel industry.   
  • Strong Merchandise presentation skills and experience in crafting documents, seasonal directives, or planograms.   
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe suite (Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator and Sketch Up)   
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.   
  • Authentic interest in the retail industry and knowledge of competitive visual and activation trends to gather best practices.   
  • Ability to work closely with functional and cross-functional team members and strive toward a unified vision.   
  • Fluent in English. French knowledge preferred, other languages a plus.  
  • Proven agility to work in a fast-paced environment.   
  • 20& of Travel is required.
