Introduction on the role:
Crocs, Inc is looking for an eCommerce QA & Technical Operations Analyst to support our Crocs- and HEYDUDE-operated digital websites and platforms in India.
This role combines the responsibilities of Quality Assurance and Technical Operations, focusing on supporting eCommerce technology stacks, managing global eCommerce sites, and optimizing digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA, technical operations, and platform management, with a high attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously. This person will partner with eCommerce Project Management, Product Management, IT, Commercial, and other global, cross-functional teams. They must have previous experience as a QA Analyst, Tech Ops Analyst, or eCommerce Platform Manager working on end-to-end eCommerce projects and ecosystems. The candidate in this role must be comfortable working flexible hours to accommodate project meetings with our global eCommerce teams, including early morning and/or late evening calls on a semi-frequent basis.
What will you do?
· Perform various testing methods (functional, regression, end-to-end, smoke testing).
· Identify, document, and track test defects. Develop and update test scripts, execute tests, and report results.
· Collaborate with technical and business teams during eCommerce development projects.
· Evaluate needs and requirements for back-end integrations and functionality.
· Support the documentation of detailed technical requirements for developers.
· Architect and support continual process improvements.
· Deploy and implement new systems and integration processes.
· Solve production issues across multiple systems.
· Support eCommerce technical teams.
· Optimize digital platforms to better meet business needs.
· Train and assist team members on platform functionalities.
· Act as a solution architect for new project requests.
· Create and maintain documentation and training for new digital features.
· Serve as the point of contact for high-priority production issues.
Who are you?
· BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
· 5+ years of experience in QA, technical operations, or platform management.
· Experience in designing and developing strategic Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Reports.
· In depth understanding of end-to-end eCommerce, from front-end to back-end, including eCommerce platforms, CMS (content management systems), OMS (order management systems), WMS (warehouse management systems), and shipping/fulfillment processes
· Strong understanding of Adobe Commerce / Magento eCommerce platforms.
· Familiarity with eCommerce order processing life cycle and various operating systems, internet browsers, and mobile devices.
· Experience with system and data analytics, troubleshooting, SQL database concepts, and networking concepts (DNS, SSL, FTP).
· Experience working in Jira and Confluence, or similar project & workflow management tools.
· Ability to communicate sophisticated ideas and requirements.
· Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
· Comfortable with high pressure, high profile and fast-paced environments.
· Comfort with ambiguity and a flexible attitude toward evolving responsibilities and environments.
· Collaborative spirit and ability to work autonomously.
· Ability to prioritize, manage, and meet deadlines.
