Program Manager-Adult Residential

Programmatic expansion is providing us the opportunity to add the position of Program Manager at North Coast House. The North Coast House Program Manager is responsible for supervision of staff, as well as providing and overseeing direct client care, oversight of the development, implementation, and delivery of programming. This individual is responsible for the completion of the monthly schedule for staffing of programs, and ensures adequate staffing is achieved, including participating in recruiting and hiring of staff. The Program Manager will develop, implement, and maintain program treatment models, policies, and procedures in accordance with relevant certifications/accreditation/fidelity standards. Monitoring staffing, coordinate staff’s schedules, and manages staffing needs of the programs. This position will also provide clinical and administrative supervision of staff and program supervisor, facilitate program and staff development as assigned. Responsible for ongoing management, onboarding, and orientation of staff and provide trauma informed services to clients and their family system.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leadership:
- Understanding of team dynamics and staff development, including recruitment and retention, ability to achieve results through coaching and mentoring, ability to lead process improvement and work with other departments to improve client care and staff development, ability to develop an understanding of how all areas of the organization operate and interact, ability to adjust in a fast-paced, ever changing environment and utilize creative thinking to solve problems.
- Interpersonal communication:
- Ability to engage with clients and collaterals, ability to develop professional relationships with peers and community partners, ability to develop trusting supportive relationship with supervisees, ability to produce timely, consistent, and accurate documentation of client services
- Clinical Care:
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of human development and mental/behavioral health specific to population served; including the social, political, economic, and cultural context. General knowledge of substance use disorders and the general complications of dual diagnosis in the treatment of behavioral health disorders. Understanding the importance of an interdisciplinary approach to client care.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Master's Degree in Social Work/Mental Health
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
- Some administrative supervisory experience (preferred)
- Licensed in the State of Ohio with LPCC/LISW/IMFT
- Work in the office with occasional travel for meetings or professional development as dictated by programmatic needs
- Full-time hours, Monday through Friday, and occasional weekends as needed
- North Coast House is a 24 hour, 7 day a week, adult residential facility
