
Call Center Specialist

Our Front Office Team is currently seeking an outgoing, customer service-oriented Call Center Specialist. This ever-important Call Center Specialist will be a key position in the call center answering incoming calls and scheduling clients for appointments following Crossroads Health express scheduling, and/or transferring to the proper channels.
More specifically, primary duties for this position include:
- Schedule client appointments according to organizational established protocols.
- Answer and direct calls to appropriate department or staff.
- Making sure client profiles are up to date and accurate, asking probing questions to make sure the calls are cohesive, and that clients’ needs are satisfied in one call.
- Transferring clients to providers or front office when dealing with escalated issues.
- Maintaining and operating all office equipment
- Performing word processing, data entry, and filing according to standards.
- Learning electronic health record in order to check clients in, schedule, etc.
- Completing assigned work in a timely, accurate and comprehensive manner.
Primary Requirements for this role:
- High school diploma/GED required. Associates degree preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of general office experience required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum of two (2) years of general machine office machines experience, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
- Must have excellent organization and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing demands and schedules of the front office working environment.
- Results driven – able to think projects through.
Physical Demands include:
- Long periods of time sitting at desk (daily).
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs as necessary.
- Manual dexterity to type on computer keyboard and operate general office equipment, such as phone, fax, and copier.
- Ability to drive (must have valid driver’s license) as needs will arise to go to other locations in NE OH.
