
Team Lead Adult Residential

The Team Lead, North Coast House provides consistent mentorship to new and existing North Coast House staff and oversight of day-to-day tasks and service provisions for the North Coast House residential program. This position is responsible for teaming with the Program Manager to support new hire training and onboarding efforts, as well as continuous training and coaching. This position requires programmatic oversight and direct service. This Team Lead will engage as a member of a collaborative team. With a Trauma Informed approach, this position will be a representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for recovery and mental health.
More specifically this person is responsible for:
- Provide day-to-day oversight of the program including scheduling and staffing coverage. Provide consultation to staff. Facilitate program development as assigned.
- Provide trauma informed pre-intake, intake, and ongoing individual, family, and group services to clients and their family system in the residential facility, home, office, other community settings, and virtually.
- Provide consultation and collaboration with community partners, referral sources, and clients’ treatment teams. Promote Crossroads Health services and engage in outreach activities.
- Providing support as needed in times of crisis and helps consumer maintain stability; as appropriate, accesses additional support in crisis intervention.
- Provide accurate, concise, and concurrent documentation according to program procedures and policies.
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services/Social Work/Mental Health or related field
Experience:
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience
• Five years’ experience (preferred)
Licensure/Certifications:
• QMHS within 10 days of hire
• Mental Health or Chemical Dependency license/credential in the State of Ohio (preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must have an acceptable driving record (4 points of less), reliable transportation, and carry automobile insurance with minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 and property damage of $50,000.
• BLS/CPR/First Aid (employer provided)
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
• Drug Screen, TB Test, Background check required
• Work in residential setting and travel to other local locations as dictated by programmatic needs. Must be comfortable conducting client assessments to determine appropriateness of referrals.
• Full-time hours, Monday through Friday, with evening/night and weekend work as dictated by programmatic needs
