We currently don't have a Business Analyst - CodeOps Manager role open at Crowdbotics. If you're interested in future opportunities in this role, we encourage you to submit your application if you fit the following credentials:

As a Business Analyst - CodeOps Manager you will play a crucial role within Crowdbotics by analyzing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) generated by the PRD AI tool. This innovative tool automates the creation of PRDs from natural language inputs, each containing user stories, features, user personas, and acceptance criteria.

The main goal of this role is to be able to synthesize insights on the data generated from the PRD AI tool. You will work closely with Customer Success teams to report findings that can help customers strategically invest in reusable code assets (modules), predict duplicate work, and identify common software needs across their organization.

This role requires a keen analytical mind, strong communication skills, and the ability to see the bigger picture in the software development process. By finding commonalities and redundancies in PRDs, the Business Analyst - CodeOps Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the productivity and cohesion of software development initiatives within the company.

Responsibilities:

PRD Analysis for Module Identification

  • Thorough examination of the daily PRDs to identify common features across them
  • Evaluate PRD features to spot opportunities for developing reusable code modules, which are then documented in a "Module Roadmap."
  • Identify in the Roadmap and strategic report and highlight common features that can be standardized as modules to streamline development efforts and enhance efficiency.

Duplication Detection

  • Analyze the output from PRD AI for potential areas of duplicate work across different divisions within the same company.
  • Seek out instances where users of the PRD AI tool may inadvertently generate PRDs with overlapping features or functionalities due to the siloed nature of large organizations.
  • Identify duplicates in features and functionalities, thereby preventing redundant development efforts and fostering a more unified approach to software development across the organization.

Communication and Coordination

  • Communicate findings to the relevant stakeholders regarding the identified common features and potential areas of duplication
  • Coordinate with different divisions to inform them of the opportunities for module reuse and the areas where efforts may be duplicated.
  • Ensure that the software development process is as efficient and cohesive as possible, leveraging shared resources and knowledge.

Strategic Module Planning

  • Contribute to the strategic planning of the software development lifecycle by using insights gained from PRD analysis.
  • Shape the future direction of software projects by advising on the creation of a modular development roadmap, ensuring they are built on a foundation of reusable and efficiently managed code modules.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in account management, or a similar role in a startup SaaS environment.
  • Background or degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with a focus on software development or product management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in large sets of data.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to audiences including executive-level audiences.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies as well as agile methodologies and software development best practices.
  • Experience using Large Language Models such as ChatGPT or Gemini.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and processes and the SaaS business model with a basic understanding of coding practices and principles.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail with a strong desire to help customers succeed.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Previous experience successfully positioning and delivering SaaS products and services for Fortune 100 accounts.
  • Travel is expected for this role and may average 50% per month based on the assigned customer portfolio.

Nice to have:

  • Technical software project management experience
  • Love for AI
  • Experience building AI products
  • Microsoft experience and working knowledge of Azure
  • Interest in contributing to product development with insights and feedback

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
