Outbound Sales Development Representative

As an Outbound SDR at Crowdbotics, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and qualifying potential commercial Mid-Market and Enterprise clients interested in our platform. You will leverage your strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to engage prospects, build relationships, and ultimately contribute to the company’s sales pipeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation:
    • Conduct outbound prospecting through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media, to identify potential clients interested in our platform.
    • Ability to proficiently and seamlessly leverage sales automation tools for outreach (Apollo here currently).
  • Qualification:
    • Engage in strategic conversations with prospects to understand their business needs and assess their compatibility with our offerings.
    • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and ensure a seamless handoff to the sales team.
  • CRM Management: 
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities and interactions in our CRM system (HubSpot).
  • Follow-Up: 
    • Conduct timely follow-ups with prospects to nurture relationships and advance them through the sales funnel.
  • Market Research:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to effectively articulate the value proposition of our platform.
    • Act as a resource for marketing, keeping the marketing team informed of messaging, narratives, and channels that are resonating and performing.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to facilitate smooth transitions from lead generation to opportunity development.
  • Sales and Marketing Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers and Marketing to align outreach strategies with broader sales goals.
    • Provide valuable insights and feedback from prospect interactions to optimize messaging and targeting.
    • Ability to prospect in event and program formats (trade and industry events) if needed.  (Some limited travel may be required.)

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Outbound Sales Development Representative or similar role, preferably in a B2B technology or software environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of app development and the ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g.HubSpot. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Slack, 6Sense) and sales engagement tools.

Nice To Haves:

  • Pre-established industry relationships or connections to leverage on Day 1 in getting in front of the right audiences.
  • Proven results crafting outbounding copy and further follow up (including calls, LI Messages, etc.) that get responses, meetings, and deals generated in predictable fashion.
  • Technical Background (Engineering, etc.)
