Senior Software Engineer (UI)

Remote

At Crowdbotics, we believe that the future of software development is expressed in natural language. Whether you’re working with new code or old code, our mission is to help you understand that code. Our platform uses AI to unlock business requirements and technical insights from legacy code. This approach enables IT teams to modernize and maintain their code while ensuring that core functionality and key business objectives remain intact, ultimately speeding up delivery, reducing cost, and maximizing the likelihood of successful modernization

The Crowdbotics Platform Engineering team is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Software Engineer to bolster our front-end team. This team is entrusted with the technical architecture, engineering, and maintenance of our platform's front-end dashboard. This dashboard serves as the primary interface for our customers to facilitate application creation with minimal coding, requisition and manage resources for their applications, launch and supervise application development projects, and administer all facets of their application lifecycle.

Our platform's front-end primarily leverages React and Vue.js and integrates with our Django backend and various third-party services.

Responsibilities

As the Senior Software Engineer, you will oversee our front-end team and guide the design, development, and maintenance of our web SPA.

  • Spearhead the development of modern, clean JavaScript / TypeScript using React and Vue.js.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing upgrades for code and software quality.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of bugs to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer by providing constructive code reviews for team members.
  • Collaborate with our designers to transform Figma designs into interactive HTML, CSS, and JS applications.
  • Supervise the integration with internal and external APIs.
  • Enable effective communication within the remote team through real-time and asynchronous methods.
  • Spearhead front-end testing efforts to ensure software quality.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in building user interfaces with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Demonstrated expertise in React and/or Vue.js, with a deep understanding of JavaScript frameworks.
  • An aptitude for design and a track record in implementing high-quality UI/UX solutions.
  • Proficiency with Git.
  • Profound understanding of REST API integration.
  • Proven experience working with remote teams is highly beneficial.
  • Django development experience will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with a variety of front-end testing techniques.
  • Experience with LLMs, LLM tools, and prompt engineering is a plus.

This role requires a dynamic leader with a knack for motivating teams, implementing robust solutions, and delivering high-quality software products. If you are passionate about front-end development and ready to lead a talented team to new heights, we would love to hear from you.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
